I set it up to close the day before the game. It was open for ten days.
Bid early and often.

Gameday, looks like it's going to live up to the hype, 7-7 so far.

Ball game. As I said, the michigan D couldnt match OSUs speed. They did a better job on smith running then I thought they would but the fact that they are up 11 with 3 turnovers and all the emotion for michigan, its pretty clear OSU is the better team...

The thread was open like 10 days though, I think that's long enough. Plus you have like 650 on it, so you had a good day's work.

I'm surprised not more people posted/bet on this game.
It was a very hyped up game that turned out to live up to it.

The damn thread was open ten days and closed early to avoid any late minute effects on betting (sadly the death of Bo, injuries etc).
It is the way a good vbookie thread should be posted.

I think it was open plenty long enough, the odds were good, etc.
Great thread for a great game

I cracked the 1,000 mark
Now for the Mavs to win, I've got 266 on them tonight.

Well...I stand corrected. I thought that there would be no way in heck that these two teams could enjoy a rightful rematch, but the BCS results were released five minutes ago and Michigan is ranked #2 only 0.007 points ahead of USC. If USC beats UCLA and Notre Dame I still think they jump Michigan but there it is....Michigan is #2.
wow.

the only problem i have with an immediate rematch like this is what happens if Say, OSU loses by 1? Then couldnt you argue that they deserve to be the national champions instead of michigan? You are setting yourself up for a headache...

No. You earn your way into the game. The game winner is the champ period. There is no argument.

Well I disagree with that but whatever... the whole country is convinced USC won a national title 3 years ago when they didnt even play in the effing game so I would definitely say that OSU would have as much claim as USC did then...

I think it should be pretty clear to guess my opinion on Michigan staying #2.
