Two scenes absolutely killed me in this episode:
1) Michael talking about how the office didn't really need to spend the money as he was sitting in Pam's chair slowly sinking lower and lower.
2) The talking head at the end where Michael had a very nice fur coat on. At first, I thought he decided to screw over the office after they came to a decision. Still, pretty funny the way it happened.

So the cat's out of the bag about Dwight and Angela. . . well it's out to everyone except for Andy.

Seriously...is anyone going to man up and tell Andy? Or are we still on a collision course to the wedding?
I thought Dwight's reaction was strong..to...quite strong to that whole situation.
And Creed hitting that humongous water bong? On network tv? Well how can it get any funnier than that?
The opening scene with Dwights desk faux wrapped was the best. Also when Michael threw the pen at Toby's head. Very funny.

That opening scene was classic Jim/Dwight. Just great.
The ending though...I dunno. I'm really tired of the affair joke series.

There's really no issue in showing that, as it's just a hookah. True, it can be used to smoke some herb, but it's just as commonly used to smoke tobacco.

Yeah. That's a hookah. Totally kosh.
Didn't like the last one too much (not a fan of Meredith and her jokes) but the Surplus episode was great stuff. This season seems a little more discontinuous than before, like a series of one episodes with the only string between these blocks being the love affair thing. We know where the season finale is going right?

Did they broadcast this at the right time?
I got home, put the DVR on: The Office, 8pm...the DVR had all the right info and episode description, and I got the first 31 minutes of ER.

A bad episode of The Office is better than a LOT of stuff on tv.
I am looking forward to the hour long post super bowl episode.

I think it's because I need a fresh TV show to watch, any suggestions?
My Lost-HowIMetYourMother-TheOffice trio is still rocking, but I think I need another one.

I don't think anyone has that kind of time.
Alby, as far as comedies, if you're not watching The Big Bang Theory, you should be.
Drama...go rent The Wire.

Alby, did you start Chuck yet? And I would also recommend 30 Rock. I am consistently laughing at that show. There are like 20-30 hilarious throwaway lines per episode.

I watched a few episodes of 30 Rock on Hulu. It's funny, but I just can't take Tracy Morgan. One of the most unfunny people to ever be labeled funny, imo.

Flight of the Conchords Season One was hilarious...but season 2 seems weak so far.

I saw a couple episodes of 30 Rock over Christmas Break, not a bad show. I'm going to start Chuck, I just decided.

That was outstanding. Like all their hour long episodes, it kind of meandered, but it had many moments of gold.

the beginning of this episode was wayyy too dramatic. I mean, dwight's character was wayyyy over the top. He's a reckless guy, but he does have boundaries. I think the writers are getting bored.

"Prepare yourselves for the Utica chain store massacre!"
"So is there a guy or a sperm machine that did this to you?"
"Karen, do you need to go pump?"
After that dud two weeks ago, they've delivered on super bowl sunday and last night, I thought.
