I remember hearing that quote a while back before Romo ever got his chance. But I'm not sure if Drew was just being polite or something.

Julius Jones is really becoming a steady running back for the Cowboys. Those playaction plays wouldn't be so deceiving without the running game being so dang good.
And dude, Marion Barber is good as well. : )

Wow how many TD's will Romo end up with? He's really turning into something special. I haven't been this excited about the cowboys in a LONG time.

The Cowboys have a good problem with their running game. They have two backs that arguably should be the "featured" back.

Fantasy football really makes you watch football weird. I know Barber needs to NOT be in there, but I sure could use that 7.

Is it a slap in the face if we bring Bledsoe in for mop up duty?

Man what in the hell is wrong with Vanderjagt? I'm speaking for a guy who's never kicked a football so excuse my ignorance but why in the hell does he have to kick the upright on every damn kick? If he's within the 10 its to the upright. If its on the 50 its to the upright. Goodness.

Unless he wants to get in there I think so. His pride is too heavy though. I don't think he'd do it and I can't say that I blame him.

Understood but we definitly don't want Romo to get hurt. I guess we can run polite and Hoyt for the rest of the game.

I'm hoping against hope that Romo always remains so focused and down-to-earth. It's a beautiful thing to watch right now.

I see no reason why Romo shouldn't make the pro-bowl. Look at his numbers.

Romo is unbelievable. If we weren't the most undisciplined team in the first half of the season. Today would have been our 9th victory. Even at 7-4, that record is still deceiving. I really think we are seeing something special with the Cowboys this year.

Let's temper this a little bit. This was Tampa Bay. If we didn't win this game, then last Sunday would have meant nothing. We were able to take care of business, but it was against a team that had no business being on the field with us. The season will likely be defined next Sunday.

True dat, Chaff. But as it happens, ass whoopings are relatively few and far between in this league. And I don't mind it saying it: We kicked the crap out of the Bucs today!
I pity Jeremy Shockey's Giants in the next meeting. Oh, they are going down so hard.

Chum, did you catch Bill’s press conference?
Jen Engel was about to bring up the Shockey comments but before she could get it out he, interrupted her with “that’s for next week”. I assumed that he was going to downplay the whole thing but as the next question was being asked he turned back to Jen and said “I’m aware of what was said” and based on the look on his face he wanted to say “…and I didn’t like that s*it one bit”
Between Shockey, Jacobs and Plax, we have plenty of bulletin board material. That and the fact that we’re a better football team leads me to believe that we’ll win big.

Yeah, I saw it. That surprised me, too. Now, maybe next week he'll downplay it in the way you would expect him to. But maybe not!
I think the Cowboys fully expect to win the Giants game. And I think they will! If they can go up there and win with Quincy Carter at the helm, they can certainly do it with Tony Romo!
Chaff--inbox empty now.

I hear that. But as Chum said, blowouts in this league is rarely seen. Not only that, but Romo escaped constant pressure yesterday and converted many third downs that would have not been made by Bledsoe. The fact that we now have a quarterback for the first time since Aikman leaves us all to happy.

Ok, I missed it, but where is all this bulletin board material coming from? What was said exactly?

I couldn't find what Shockey said exactly, but from what I've heard, he basically guaranteed a victory for the Giants against the Cowboys.

Plaxico accused TO of slipping on purpose to avoid a hit.
I haven’t seen an actual quote but Jacobs allegedly made some comments about carrying Roy Williams into the end zone.
Then, after getting embarrassed by the Jaguars, Shockey went off on a rant and said (among other things) that if the Giants play their game, there's no way in the hell we can beat them.
