Harper with a great point, Roddy needs to start using high-top shoes.

Roddy carried off the court. I'd imagine he's out for at least a couple of weeks. If it's a high sprain, he might be out for the rest of camp. Hopefully no break.

I used to play pickup in those but have been told more than a few times they cause more injuries than they prevent. Not sure what the science behind that is - but if you have an ankle or foot problem, then hell yes, wear hightops.

Roddy really can't afford to miss another training camp.

The high ankle support really helps.

Roddy is trash. Ship him. Did you see his TO pass in teh 1st half ? This is not how a guard plays. Not even a center throws the ball away like this. Roody is a great athlete but his BB IQ ist too low for this game. He is a slow thinker...can't avoid stupid plays and injuries. Just like Josh, always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Pretty much the whole team is playing terrible. First game, new team, what i've expected. I think we'll dance around 50% in the first 20-25 games of the season, but still, this team will have a pretty high ceiling imo.

everybody wrote about how good brand was looking early on
sure its the 1st preseason game, but he didnt look that awesome to me
kaman looked bad at the beginning but picked up his play after his first break on the bench
dirks shot looks nice, his drives...not so much : )
also, you have to count the fact that there is no defensive 3 second rule in effect
seems to me that guys like collison and mayo are a little bit hampered by it

That's 10 more than you have "good posts"...
It's not helpful if someone is injured many times.

Injuries are not an excuse for brain fart passes. Roddy simply does not have it. Great body but his mind is on euro basketball level at best.

Thank you Mavs for somewhat redeeming a pretty crappy Dallas sports week.

I guess Cunningham is just too raw?
Can't believe Roddy is injured again. At least Kaman looked decently healthy.
