Maybe him and Eddie have a little bet going.

RE:T-Pups at Mavs Game Day Thread
It's been a long time since i've seen a rookie play like Howard. I mean maybe it is because he doesn't have as much of a load as guys like Carmelo and Lebron but this guy is solid. I'm kind of seeing a lighter Ron Artest in him. I see he got a new cut. Nice.

Puppies 13 assists
The Mavs 3 assists.
Some team isn't working as a team.

Be patient lol. This won't last very long.To be honest everyone has missed layups tonight inside with the exception of Best and Josh Howard. Everyone who has played tonight has missed atleast 1 layup. I don't know what is going on but it needs to be fixed. This isn't the Mavs. We are missing free throws and layups. I don't get how everyone on the team is in this slump. The whole team is missing layups.

That some team likes to miss easy buckets when someone passes them a dime. I've seen 3 passes by Fin to open guys who drive to the hole but either get closed in on or just miss the layup. Nash has also threw some.

LOL Chiwas. Bradley cannot pass. Najera is not too good at it either. Finley shoots every look he gets, Nash was busy drawing fouls.

RE:T-Pups at Mavs Game Day Thread
Minnesota leads 48-44 at the half:
Finley (20) 4-10, 2-2, 3-3, 13pts, 4rbs, 1to, 1stl
Walker (20) 3-11, 0-2, 0-4, 6pts, 6rbs, 2as
Bradley (17) 2-3, 4pts, 3rbs
Delk (9) 1-1, 2pts, 2rbs
Nash (16) 2-8, 0-3, 5-5, 9pts, 1as, 1to
Najera (7) 0-3, 1-2, 1pt, 4rbs, 1to
Best (8) 1-4, 0-1, 2pts, 2rbs, 1as, 1to
Jamison (13) 1-7, 2pts, 6rbs, 1as, 1stl
Howard (10) 2-2, 1-2, 5pts, 1rb, 1stl, 1blk
I think Finley will be fine in the 2nd half if he doesn't take himself out of the game. Walker will be fine if doesn't jack a bunch of shots up too.
Either Nash or Jamison MUST step up in the 2nd half. Both would be better, but we really NEED one more person pick their game up.
I hope to see more of Bradley.

Yes, the Mave missed a lot of those because they are well guarded, but the Puppies don't miss any cause they are "softly" guarded.

Not to pick on Delk, but I'd rather see Howard start the 2nd half if Jamison doesn't.

RE:T-Pups at Mavs Game Day Thread
Mavs have missed plenty of shots they had no businness missing, and the T-Wolves have hit some contested ones. That makes all the difference in the assist totals.

That's a pretty good point but some of these I think these players should be hitting. They start off open but then decide to walk to the goal so the defensive can convert on them. Walker has done this 3 times this game and 1 time he made a great play and kind of avoided the block and made a dunk on Kandi.

We suk.
When is Dirk coming back? We NEED HIM. Walker NEEDS him 'cause it's Dirk who drew the Double-teams so that Walker got his man one-on-one....

Pups play a strategy known in basketball as DEFENSE. I'm not real familiar with it myself as I am usually watching the Mavs play.

I don't see why not. We were playing very well b/f dirk got hurt, he gets injured, we suck. To me, it seems that's all there is too it. There's a reason Dirk is a top 5 player.
Josh looks great by the way.

What's the Mavs record for fewest assists?
It blows my mind that we have only 5.

That is Steffanson sitting by Dirk lol? I thought that was one of Dirk's friends lol. Props to Howard. I cringe everytime he has the ball because he is a rookie but the guy has been solid. Solid all season long and it's a shame he has been one of our more consistent players.

RE: T-Pups at Mavs Game Day Thread
Mavs should be attacking the basket.
Hoiberg has 4 fouls. Garnett, Cassell, and Trent each have 3 apiece.
Of course, the Mavs would have to hit their ft's if they were to draw contact.

Okay how are we getting outshot in every category. -21.3% FG, -6.8% 3pt, -16.2%FT
After the announcers pumped up the Twolves' stats they are outrebounding us by one as well.
We have 6 fewer TOs...thats the only thing saving us. That and 7 fewer fouls

Maybe if the next field goal is made, the Mavs get double figures in FGA-M%.
