RE:D-M.com Fantasy Basketball League - Season 2... the U2 domination
I could allow you to fix your Mavs point prediction AFTER THE GAME....
no really, I don't care when the draft takes places, as long as the automatic function gives me Dirk and Yaoooo Ming

Murphy has been gracious enough to give up his spot, but I would rather take someone's second spot. Any volunteers?

So have we decided if it will be this weekend the draft or next weekend? And what time? I would love to have it over the weekend and preferably at night. Even late night would be great.

I am sure someone would do this for you. I have a team in both, but that's because I am the Commish - I am required to.
I think Evil said he would give up one...

RE: D-M.com Fantasy Basketball League - Season 2... the U2 domination
Okay, well now even less times are available. That is what I get for waiting for response on the available times. Sorry.
Here's what I came up with:
For League I - Dallas-Mavs.com - Sun Oct 17 8:00am CDT - Hopefully the draft ends before church.
For League II - Dallas-Mavs.com 2 - Sat Oct 30 9:00am CDT
In either case, SET YOUR PRE-DRAFT RANKINGS. That will at least cover you in case you don't make the live draft.

The teams in the first league are:
Fah Q
Houston Rockets
alby MFFL
Jubari's Ape Rampage
TripleDribble
The Dream
JasonTerry's Team
Evil Domination
Irontoads
Sinn Fein
mavs413
Jesus Domination
See you here in the morning. Yahoo recommends you test your system, which if you go to the league site they have a link to test in the League Notes. They also recommend showing up 10 minutes early to the draft.

RE:D-M.com Fantasy Basketball League - Season 2... the U2 domination
Here's my team:
PG B. Davis (NO - PG)
SG J. Rose (Tor - G)
G S. Nash (Pho - PG)
SF R. Artest (Ind - SF)
PF A. Kirilenko (Uta - PF)
F A. Harrington (Atl - SF)
C M. Camby (Den - C)
C A. Davis (Chi - FC)
Util C. Atkins (LAL - PG)
Util M. Dunleavy (GS - SF)
BN D. Stoudamire (Por - PG)
BN D. Gooden (Cle - F)
BN N. Van Exel (Por - PG)
BN U. Haslem (Mia - PF)
BN M. Peterson (Tor - GF)
I'm pretty happy, but will consider trading Nash, Artest or Stoudamire for a quality Centre.

Well, I got jack up Kobe, but the rest seem to be ok. No true centers. But a lot of nice PGs and SGs.

Since i had the first pick, i got KG. TD went 2nd, and i think Brand was third, i don't know too much more after that.

RE: D-M.com Fantasy Basketball League - Season 2... the U2 domination
The only problem I have is that Nash13 stole Raef LaFrenz from me one pick before I was going to nab the sleeper of the draft. No big deal, though. He proabably wouldn't have got many starts at center behind Duncan, Chandler, Stromile, and the [potential greatness of the almighty Mantis. Jabari's Great Ape Rampage will once again be a shot swatting, rebound grabbing massacre for my opponents. When you play the rampage, bring a towel because it's going to get messy.

U2 loves the Dalembert.....nice
I guess the top five were KG/TD/Dirk/Brand(how did he go before Shaq?)and Jermaine O'Neal?

To be honest, I didn't think his injury was that severe. The last thing I remember reading about it was that the Bucks were optimistic that he'd be back by the end of training camp. The good news is that you've just convinced me to pick up Mike James, who in Ford's absense will be slaughtering people on a nightly basis in Milwaulkee.

RE:D-M.com Fantasy Basketball League - Season 2... the U2 domination
Here's the state of the Domination:
Starters:
PG- Carlos Arroyo
SG- Corey Maggette
SF- Stephen Jackson
PF- Jermaine O'Neal
C- Yao Ming
Bench:
PG- Jason Kidd
G- Joe Johnson
F- Shareef Abdur-Rahim
C- Chris Mihm
SF- Darius Miles
PF- Antonio McDyess
SF- Jonathan Bender
PG- Zoran Planinic
C- Dale Davis
SF- Jason Kapono
If Kidd comes back in a month and plays like Jason Kidd, my team is going to be nasty. If his injury drags on, it'll hurt the Domination, but I still like my chances...

RE: D-M.com Fantasy Basketball League - Season 2... the U2 domination
Okay, I have 3 requests from different board users that want to joing the second league. So what I am asking is for those of you currently in the second league to vote (either via PM or here in the thread) on if you would agree to increasing the number of teams to 15.
Majority rules... this is a democratic League.
So let me hear from you!!!
And only 2nd league team members votes will be counted.
