Speaking of the Arabic guys, I like how it just randomly switched to Followill and co after a commercial break. Whatever. Random or not, I'll take it.
Still playing Arabic commercials, too...

Followill and Ortegal are the best local commentators in the game.

It's pretty obvious by now that Hump is better than Bass. Good job brain trust!

I'm not sure what everyone was expecting. An easy blowout win? Please. The Kings are playing well and the Mavs are shorthanded, and that makes each play all the more difficult. Case in point, Terry was much better offensively when the Mavs could spread the floor with the main guys. Everything is much more cramped now and it's harder for Terry to get a good look.

I wouldn't say Hump is better. He seems like an almost indentical player...similar jumpshot, similar energy, similar defense.

No way, Bass has one of the best mid range jumpshot amongst power forwards in the whole league. Humphries a better rebounder, and maybe a better defender than Brandon, on offense though Bass>>>Humphs.

Why are we letting people get WIDE open on backdoors, fast breaks and rebounds? This is ridiculous!

Hump's jumper is bad because it means Hump isn't there to get the O-board.

I hope someone can post a video of that Kidd pass. That was absolutely sick.

No, although he had a good jumper. But nearly ever shot he took was open, and he would still miss at a consistant rate (granted, he hit at an even more consistant rate, but still). Humphries doesn't have Bass's jumper, though, completely agree.
I still think that Bass's defense was solid. He was physical, he got some blocks, he got some steals. I'll give Humphries the edge defensively, but we've seen Humphries can be muscled down into the post.

Dude, lighten up a bit. Who's gonna shoot? You don't want Gooden to shoot, Barea to shoot, Terry to shoot.... Geez, we still have half the game left. Enjoy it.

True that, Bass was one of the top 20 free throw shooters in the league, easily. 87 or so percent will do that.
Humphries shot almost 80% last year with Toronto, though. Hmm. Only 60% this year. In limited oppurtunities obviously.

Well, I'm kinda with him with Gooden. The guy's 1-10 shooting right now. Chippies, easy stuff? Of course you trust Gooden to start making those. But he shouldn't be trying to drive from the elbow and put up floaters over several defenders, or taking fallaway jumpers from the post.

Our bench scored more points than our starters.
Looking forward for more 7-8 Boobie minutes in the third. Looks like RC just wanna play him in the fixed combination with the starters
