Dirk ought to play with Ian some. Ian has that energy, and Dirk will find him for some easy looks.

Finally some energy in the building.
Although this last offensive sequence was a "bit" shaky to say the least

Btw... anyone love all the Ls piling up on Avery Johnson's career record? He rode Dirk to the hottest coaching start ever.. time he earned some of those Ws.

The last layup from Butler where he tried the up-and-under was just hilarious...

At least the defense turned up the D. Gave up 21 points the first 7 minutes... only 5 the last 5 minutes.

But why would Butler try an up and under? Don't avoid it, try and draw the foul. They don't have bigs, and if you get them in foul trouble....

Mahinmi is young. He'll be making these mistakes for a while. But I love how eager he is to prove himself. That's a good sign.

The other side of the rim was open, but he thought someone was going to get the ball by behind so he put way too much spin on it

Donnie seems pretty good at getting evaluating French guys.
Butler is incapable of making a straight forward layup.

I like the energy being provided by Mahinmi and Ajinca. 2 very athletic centers.

Most dunks I've seen Dirk make in a year in a long time.

Kepp Ajinca on the floor and then get him off at the next dead ball for some standing ovations.
Damn, how long he is!
