If Chum matches your 7-game winning streak, we're champs. Even if he just snags another victory, we're pretty much a lock to return to the Finals.
Sometimes we need to stop trying to control things and accept the will of the Basketball Gods - it's time for Chum to embrace his destiny (Fluid gets his chance with the next loss, which is hopefully never...)

Camping lives in my hometown of Alameda, CA freaking crazy interviewed a neighbor of his who support him.

I will give them a rest, if they need it. I fear for the team that has to face Chum and KG in the finals.

Thanks for doing this. I take full responsibility if you fail, knowing full well that failure is not even a remote possibility.

Regardless what happens here, I will continue my own personal game day ritual....we need all the mojo we can't get.

I don't like this one bit, but we'll see where this takes us.
Fluid is the right choice to start this new trend with.

The plan is I will ban you if you haven't started the GDT by the time I wake up tomorrow.
Clear enough?

It took awhile for the mojo gods to adjust, but they did nicely and FFO is firmly seated on the Altar of Mojo.

Dem bitches are done for!
Speaking of, I think my favorite part of the '06 run was watching the boys get presented the Western Conference trophy after shooing Phoenix away. Great moment...I want it again!

I never said that...i just hate all this "down by 5 = game over" pessimistic bs that floods the GDT whenever the opponent goes on a run.

well... that's understandable.
but to be honest, the "down by 5 = game over" pessimistic bs is what i've done throughout the whole playoffs, and the mavs always seem to get it together and come back and win when i do it, so i hate to go away from what got us here. it's just a superstition thing at this point. an annoying superstition i admit, but i can't let the team down.

I say bernardos70, because we need someone from Miami to stick it to 'em. He tells me no, and I know his jinxing tendencies, so I don't know. I definitely don't want to start it. Eek that's scary.

Time for KG to take the mound after plenty of rest. If there was ever a point where we needed to trot out our ace, it's now.

I say someone calls Dirk up and gets him to start it.
Failing that, KG.
