Lol, Brook Lopez grabbing rebound after rebound is pathetic.

This. Since the ASG (including tonight) Dirk is shooting 51/49/96. But his teammates refuse to give him the ball and Carlisle has become senile. If the coach isn't able to draw up a play for your best player, you know that something is wrong.

You can draw up whatever you want but when your best player is continually sucking air and too fatigued to fight to get open there isn't piss RC can do.

I'm aware that Dirk needs a breather from time to time. But if your best player is shooting 80% from the floor it's inexcuseable to let him have only 10 shots in almost 36 minutes. Look at Brooklyn. Deron Williams had 25 shots. Brook Lopez had 22 shots. Probably it's a foreign concept for you, but I think there's a bigger chance for you to win if your best player shoots a lot.

At least 5 plays designed for Dirk in the fourth quarter, Collison or James just completely ignored Nowitzki.
Sh*t, lets just throw Vince at PG and run with Mayo, Dirk, Wright, and Brand out there. I don't want Collison or James anywhere near the court.

Also true. But as I wrote, it's not only the coach (because Rick failed to draw up plays in the first three quarters, Dirk had only 6 shots until the 4th quarter), but also the inability of our guards to give the ball to our best player.

I'm not piling on Carlisle at all here. Guy got dealt a shit hand. When you don't have a point guard that can (or sometimes just refuses to) get the ball to Dirk, it's tough. But if neither James nor Collison can or are willing to get the ball to Dirk, screw it and bench both of their scrub asses.

OJ Mayo, Elton Brand, Vince Carter, Jae Crowder, Mike James on the floor in crunch time, give up a wide (10+ feet) open 3 to Joe Johnson.
They may be wearing Mavs jerseys, but these guys aren't Mavericks.

Oh yeah, why the hell is Kaman our starting center and getting touch after touch throughout the game if he's not good enough to close the game? I'm not saying he should be back in the game now, I'm saying don't start the guy if he's unplayable down the stretch.

Really? Tell me the coach that gets Mike James, Collison, Kaman, Mayo, Brand, Roddy, Dojo (he was here most of the year), Wright, etc.. to a better record. I mean that lineup is laughable. If anything Carlisle should be in the coach of the year discussions with that amount of talent at his disposal.

Dirk shot 8/10, dipshit.
Tell me what you see wrong with that stat line.

Brook Lopez and Reggie Evans went BEATMODE on the soft Mavs interior. Cuban was right about not resigning Ty Chandler...

No kidding. They made our 4s and 5s look like Junior high kids. Make total destroy.
Ty is the ONE they should have brought back and it was the biggest mistake this team ever had. The perfect fit next to Dirk got corporate downsized.

Mike James is here because Mr.RICK CARLISLE wanted to keep him till the end of the season.
Let's not forget it.
And this is why Mr.RICK CARLISLE keeps playing Mike James and keeps stubbornly proving a point that his decision was right...

I kind of agree with the idea of playing VC at the point. It might work better than anything they have going right now. I'd also give Morrow more pt. Might as well see what you've got there.

Neither VC or Mayo have the handles to play pg. Of course, if DC or James get injured, then I suppose the team won't have much of a choice.
Shocking to say, but the Delonte nutso business really did hurt this team.

They'll throw Chris wright out there who is probably better than both James/collison.

Mayo!!!!!!! Have you forgotten what happens when he's pressured.
Vince? I like Vince but dirk would probably get less shots with Vince out there. There just aren't many good options on this team.
Someone mentioned the point forward and I don't see that candidate either out there.
Nice going there Donnie, good team building ( at least contract wise ).

Surely the team has a dusty notebook or two detailing Don Nelson's point-forward schemes.

Lols.
I have thought before about VC running the point in certain situations. You would be able to have a slasher and shooter as well as a great passer. Also, he has a little more ref respect so taking it to the rack might yield more calls.

Morrow last night was a shot hunting dog, he's a shooting guard period.
