Entertaining game. Nice to see some more reasonable rotations.

Barnes hits the shots we shouldn’t. Let them win. This was still ballsy as heck.

well that would be pretty much it, I love dirk with all my heart, but it's just a huge liability for us, we defend with 4 players when he's in the court

DSJ can't play hero ball in that situation. Rare mistake though. Can't believe we came back like that.

Amazing win for us.
We showed fight
We rebounded hard against one of the best
We showed some more offensive fluidity
Smith got a clutch shot up for practice
Got the result we wanted
Great game

DSJ needs to drive and kick if he wants to hang onto the ball longer.

Great second half. The first half was brutal. Good game in the end.

Well if by fluidity you mean desperation 3s that started to fall...including Barea bank shot and Barnes last second fling.

Wish Smith played a bit better but otherwise a worthy loss.

It's his first B2B, there's gonna be some growing pains.

Dirk is such a massive epic liability defensively and it really sucks that he doesn't have it in his body to make up for it offensively.
Our spacing is jacked up.
We still can't defend the pick n roll
Overloaded with Guards on the floor that dont give us an advantage with penetration because they're too small to finish and the spacing is bad.

At least Rick is finally trusting Noel. Possibly a win if he stays out of foul trouble.

This team is built like shit, period. All heart and 3 potential future pieces but the mix of players is not good.

Welp, I posted in a GDT. Mavs lose. I guess my jinx still works.

Anybody else notice that nearly every shot we missed hit the front of the rim...especially the first half?
Perhaps there are some conditioning issues but understandable on B2B.

Yeah, moral wins don't mean much when most of the players won't even be on the team in 2 years.
Progress from DSJ, Noel, Barnes and maybe Yogi are about the only things to get excited about.

Competitive, ballsy losses are literally the best we can hope for. Smith learns, we get better, and we get closer to the lottery
I’d rather this team take it slow and get a chance at a good piece this summer than rattle off 38 wins and draft late. This team is at least one big piece from being good. I don’t want to be good leaning on JJB, Dirk, and Harris only to have them leave and the team return to being awful. We need a 19-20 year old Dirk replacement— heck maybe even a Noel replacement. That 36-46 win spot is a dead zone. We’re good enough to sniff the playoffs but too good to actually get that last piece to actually be good
Moral victories in losses are amazing. Tonight was the best I could have hoped for.

@BallinWithBryan:
Wesley Matthews
First 3 games: 8-30 from the field (26.6%) and 11 turnovers
Last 3 games: 18-34 from the field (52.9%) and three turnovers

Now we just need Barnes to turn it around and Curry to get healthy.
