Ok, so I've currently got a 25 point lead in my championship game. I have Steve Smith (60 some odd yards already), and he's got the Giants D and Matt Forte against the terrible Packers Run tomorrow. This could be close, if Forte goes off.

don't ever see anyone talking about sike's crazy league... I lost the championship cause Brett Favre sucks. Should have ditched him weeks ago.

I got eliminated weeks ago or else I'd be talking about it.
I'm up 32 in my main league now. He has Matt Forte, and that's it. I better win...

In D-M's keepers league
Nikeball +15 with Ryan Grant v Alby with A-Rod.
I wish Roddy White didn't lay a big stinker.
I am also facing A-Rod in another finals with my hometown friends...in which I have an 18 point lead.
Go WINDY COLD Chicago and Bears

I'm hoping for a shootout in Chicago. I need Orton and Rodgers to go off.
Also, no touchdowns for Forte please... in fact, aren't you injured?? just shut it down for the year rook. =]

If you're hoping for a shoot-out, you need Forte involved or mass breakdowns in the Packers D...which is possible.
Either way, Forte can rest up for next year with me.
Good luck alby!

If Forte scores 32 points I'm going to shoot myself.

I don't think he'll go off that big, if you're in a PPR league...it could be a decent sweat. It could be possibly in the low 20s or so. If you're non-PPR, you're gold.

Nuts' QBs outscored alby's QB by 19 points and that was the defining factor.
Romo for the loss.

DeAngelo Williams won me $200. He saved me after Andre Johnson decided to suck it up.

It's not like it was some random occurrence, given the opponent. You don't ever play a receiver who's being covered by Asomugha, no matter how good the receiver is. You're usually better off playing a #2 or #3 WR from a decent offense than playing a top-5 receiver against Asomugha. Hell, he held Steve Smith to 1 catch for 8 yards earlier this season.
Still, sounds like you were saved. So it's all gravy.
Oh, and BG--I won. Forte only dropped 15. Sweet!

I'll keep this in mind next season. I didn't think he would shut down AJ, who was playing lights out. As for DeAngelo, he had to be my best FA pickup in fantasy football. I got him right after his New Orleans game and had him and Michael Turner running my RBs with Steve Slaton in my flex spot (Slaton another FA pickup, after dropping Jamal Lewis). AJ and Fitz my receivers, Dallas Clark my TE, and Matt Ryan my QB (was decent enough).

It's funny, because I actually dropped Deangelo in one of my leagues around week 3. Whoops. Ended up losing the championship game in that one, but I wouldn't have won even if I still had him. I got my ass kicked.
You're not the only one who is shocked when a guy like Johnson, or Steve Smith, or whoever has a terrible day against the Raiders. It's probably because the Raiders are such a bad team and are never on TV, so the general football watching public doesn't know much about Asomugha. But, yeah, you almost always want to look for another option if you have a #1 WR who is going up against the Raiders. The guy is ridiculously good at shadowing his cover. During the 2007 season, he was thrown at only 31 times--for 10 completions. All season. Unreal, huh?

I am bitter about that league. I had things going on early...I got the injury bug bad.
This season I ended up with...
A Third place finish
A Third place finish
A Second place finish
A 6th place finish
And a dead last 12th place finish
But I'm glad it's over...I was getting a little burned out.

What a beast. Isn't he a free agent this season? I bet the Raiders throw the franchise on him.

Yeah, the Raiders franchised him last year but then couldn't get a long-term deal going, so he signed just a 1 year deal. Can you franchise a player two years in a row?

Seriously, I think something (even an online graphic or whatever) should be made for our league and be like a trophy. Congrats nikeball! Don't look overly excited though for a dynasty.
And congrats LDub on winning your league, nice job buddy!

I got a nice 1st place finish in one of the D-M.com leagues, pretty much cleaned up that league the whole year

Have you re-activated your league for the 09 season?
(speaking of which - I'd like to join one of the D-M leagues, if there's a spot available...)

We need to get a hold of evil and see what's up.
We have silkxpert in the keeper league and we need to kick him out of there.

Let me guess, he did not have Romo on his roster.

I could be SilkXpert for a season...
(assuming his fantasy football keeper isn't Jason Terry!)

Wow...July 1 is the day to set Keepers. It was on the settings tab, for those who were looking.
Yeah, we REALLY need to get a hold of Evil or something. I'm really excited for the league.

I wouldn't be opposed to getting in on one of these fantasy leagues. I'm not sure who is running what leagues, but I do enjoy some fantasy football.
