The thing is, those scrubs have turned into good role players.
I think the Lakers are coming out of the West.

I'm not sure if the casual NBA fan realizes how good Monta Ellis has become. He looks like a star.

Ellis is a stud. If people are not aware of him they will be soon. The only thing lacking in his game right now is a 3pt shot but that can be added. He was smart to recognize that as his weakness last season and stopped jacking up so many and attack the basket instead.
Incredible shot by Davis to send Boston on his way. I was so sick of watching Garnett talk smack to Biedrins all night. Biedrins held his own and did some damage imo.

On Shaq:"He did seem to get stronger as the game went on, which is incredible,'' Suns coach Mike D'Antoni said. Him not being used to anything that we do - 124 points - I didn't think we could put that many up, just starting out.''

Yea. Reminds me of how giant stars get really big and explosive right before they die and turn into a black hole from which nothing escapes.

Was really hoping the Wolves would pull that one out. Mavs need all the losses they can get from our rivals.

The funny thing is, I bet every top 10 team in the west hopes/prays for someone else to drop a game since you could move 3 spots with just one rival's loss (depending on your seed)

amused... he was talking to the Mav fan when he said that. He is a Spur fan.
I am thankful for Ginobili. He did my fantasy team good tonight. He's been playing better lately. (just shooting the shots he's supposed to shoot - that ones for amused)

I'm with you too. After all, the Timberwolves are a fluke team. Al Jefferson is a fluke player.

Joakim Noah doing damn fine tonight, if he's given minutes he can really contribute to the bulls. Good defense, hustling, he's got hops, has shown flashes of his passing ability.
He's got 8pts, 7boards, 2ast, a block and a steal at halftime vs the nuggets

Suns are blowing out the Celtics early. Still 3.5 quarters to go, but this is a very nice start by the Suns.

The Rockets win was impressive over NO tonight. I have to admit I was wrong about Houston turning it around but they show no signs of slowing down.
It's looking more like Denver missing out on the playoffs.
GS struggling without Jackson and Biedrins though they are trying to make a comeback.
Phoenix taking it to Boston as well.

The Celtics are playing so incredibly sloppy. So many lay-up chances given away. The Suns don't deserve to win this game, but the Celtics are even worse.

JVG choking defense (which Rick A. and Yao/shane/Mac impart to the rookies) + Rick Adelmans fluid "keep the ball hopping" offense = Domination
It's because of not abandoning the D:

Nice night in the association for Mavs fans. Denver, Golden State, Utah and New Orleans lose while Dallas and Atlanta win.

How in the world does GS lose to Atlanta in Oakland? That's embarrassing. Those guys are fighting for a playoff spot and they're blowing games at home to the freaking Hawks.

Jackson and Biedrins were out and the 3's weren't falling.
BTW, I watched a chunk of that game and Bibby still isn't healthy. Atlanta may not be the playoff shoe in that I assumed they would be after the trade.

I'm glad the Portland hype has died. They were extremely scary during that winning streak though.
