Since the ASB, the Mavs are 30th in the league in DEFRTG, SIGNIFICANTLY beating the Wizards in defensive ineptitude and the Mavs are going to create even more distance after this one.

Maybe we can get a win Sat against the Pacers, but 1-6 will put us at the 10 spot-- a position we had until we tanked to miss the play-in.

Honestly think the Mavs done fucked up.

I was 50/50 between blowing it up/rebuilding and going for broke. We went for broke and we're the laughingstock of the NBA. All those picks gone and we're in the exact same spot at the bottom of the play-in

1-5 with extra picks sounds better than 1-5 and no future draft capital.

I've been at the end for a while now. Went to that game on Sunday and had very little emotion. The entire arena felt the same way.

That's what is sooo tragic about all of this. Luka is having a season for the ages....and the team isn't fun to watch.

We haven't been fun to watch since 2022. They make everything so difficult which I mostly blame on Kidd's coaching.

I'll take a crappy team giving their all and heart any day of the week. That's literally what got me into the Mavs to begin with.

They are coming off 3 straight years of 12 Wins. That would be the equivalent of the mavs having 3 straight 60 win seasons

I think the Cowboys and Mavs have way more in common than you realize. They both feast on the poor teams in order to achieve a winning record while often shitting the bed when playing good teams. That's the fundamental definition of the word AVERAGE as it pertains to sports.

A cpl days after "We are going to be OK", and "We had a great film session.

We are back to Luka ball. Luka and Kai iso with no passes at all.

Kleber, Thj, Green, Exum, Djj, Lively not doing a damn thing. None of them are contributing. Part of it is Luka not moving the ball, but there is a lot more going on.

Right after a great film sessionn where Kidd talks about not givinf up the corner 3s, we are still sagging to no mans land and not recovering. Lost as ever on PnRs.

Like, I can't believe Cuban took the advice of a coach working for another team. That's wild.

All of our woes still stem from Cuban's terrible decision making. I can only hope he doesn't have the sway he used to.

Imagine Rick breaking up with Cuban and cuban asking what Rick thought he shoukd do... and Rick knows exactly who Cuban is, told him " Jason Kidd, he would be a great hire to keep the loyal fan base and bring in a face that ties directly to the franchises largeset success!"
