The players have to play but when Kidd is getting SMOKED like some kinda freakish aged salmon by Hill play after play, shot after shot, possession after possession, bucket after bucket... and then Parker comes in for his sloppy seconds and gets his turns on Kidd as if he were a 25 dollar hooker working overtime - you gotta help him out or relieve him.

I got news. The only way this thing ever see a championship outside of a miracle is Mark Cuban hiring a shrink to coach this team. Idk, Larry Brown at least has a ring...fwiw

No thanks. Another vet coach that hates young players like Beaubois.

He's probably headed back to Philly. I think he wants to stay close to family.

Well, Mavs Fans...it's over. Still thinks this is a stupid thread, uh? Think again.
Donnie Nelson needs to step up and take this team over next season. I don't want to see Jim Carey's poker face in the AAC ever again!

Alright-- figured no one else would dare to bring this thread back up, so I'll do it.
Please fire Carlisle. 2011 is over and done with. He's cost us a million close games this year that could've been won with actually calling plays for his best player and benching guys that should be benched. I just can't take 3 more years of his conservative style coaching.

I think a lot of the blame goes to our PGs too.

If Mike James passes to dirk instead of forcing up a shot against KD it would've been a 1 poss. game. It's so hard to watch us lose on stupid/selfish decisions.

Calling a timeout, designing a simple play and benching James could fix that.
Oh wait, it's the same problem we've had since day 1. And our "elite" coach here still won't fix it.

It's too drastic to even think about wanting Cuban out. I'm actually on the brink of wanting a new defensive coach in here. Getting tired of Monte Mathis and his defensive game plan. Dwayne Casey was by far are best coaching assistant with Carlisle. Now he and Terry Stotts took their ideas to other teams (Raptors and Blazers).

It's difficult to know the impact of assistant coaches but it does have to hurt.

Stupidest thread ever. How about we send back the 2011 Larry O'brien championship trophy too?
How about we fire Kidd for bailing on us before the season started or even fire Deron Williams for not signing as a free agent?
Or just act like a semi-mature human being and deal with the fact that the mavs brain trust is trying to rebuild a team in the best way possible and have a little patience? With as much turn-over as this team has had over the last 10 years and still managed to win 50+ games every season and actually WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP, just settle down and give Mark and Donnie some time to re-tool the roster.
