Shaq still cannot be guarded 1 on 1. That's why they will be dangerous in the playoffs. Porter has implemented big daddy more so than Mike Dan and Tony.

yeah I know Shaq can't be guarded 1 on 1, and yes they only beat the Nets this game, but Shaq is still Shaq and even if he isn't as good as he once was he is deff still hard to stop at times and Stoudemire is great too, so that also helps

The Rockets continue to shoot under 40% against everyone but us. I'm starting to think they're offense in that game was a fluke. Artest isn't helping either. He came into the night shooting 40% before going 3-16 against the Celtics.

That's about right for Artest. He's never really been an extremely efficient offensive player.

He's had an entire offseason to rest, though. He will wear out by the end of the year. For a guy of his age, there's just too much mass on his body for him to keep going full throttle for an entire season.

yeah, he will deff wear out by the end of the season, but I also think Nash and Kidd will start to wear out also if not played right, more so kidd because he played this summer and had some injures in the past, so I think mavs will have to look out for that, just happens when players get old hey even boston need to watch there players as well

My first night with NBA League Pass is being used on the Spurs-T'Wolves game. It's great being able to watch every Spurs and Rockets game so I can cheer as hard for them to lose as I cheer for the Mavs to win. LOL
Spurs are down by 8 in the 3rd Q, btw.

Expect some sort of "injury" that keeps Shaq out 2 months towards the end of the season, so that he's rested for the playoffs. Like almost every year.

They took a field goal away from him after the game was over.
Still, Amare had a ridiculous game
49 pts on 17/21 shooting
15/15 free throws
11 rebs
6 asts
5 stls
2 blks

edit: Parker misses, T'Wolves rebound and fouled. 1 of 2 FT's, 106-104. 9 secs left.

What got into the dirty french pg tonight? If they need 44 from him every night to win they're in trouble.
Are they headed to 2OT? By game cast thing stopped working.

Two clutch FT's by Duncan. Minnesota ball with 7.4 left. Let's see if they don't fuck up the last shot opportunity like last time.

I don't have the Spurs game on my league pass here, because it's blacked out in Austin. That's despite the fact that it's not on any local channel here tonight.
Awesome.

That may have taken the wind out of the Wolves' sails. Parker with back-to-back baskets to start the 2nd OT, and he now has 50 points.

Spurs are in some real trouble if they need 2OT to beat the Wolves with Parker scoring 52 and Duncan with 28.

Randy Foye with two long jumpers. Unfortunately, the first one had his foot on the line, so it's 126-125 Spurs. 35.4 left SA ball.

Meanwhile Mason has 26 points, is the Spurs' 3rd leading scorer, and is -4.

WOW! WTF was Finley thinking there?! After an offensive rebound, he immediately takes a 3 pt. shot like his team is DOWN. BRAINFART. Luckily for him, SA got another off. rebound. FT's for Parker.

Parker makes both FT's. Minn ball, down 128-125. 19 seconds left.

Spurs are getting clutch FT's from Duncan and Parker and still can't find a way to put away the lowly Wolves.

That probably does it. Missed 3 pointer, and guess who rebounds? Parker, and he is fouled.

Spurs win 129-125. Parker ends the game with a missed FT, but Duncan got the rebound so it didn't matter. Parker with 55 points helps them escape a 0-4 start. Awesome game.
