We should be pursuing Shabazz and Mclemore. Shabazz can be the first guy off the bench for Dirk, moving HB to PF.

Raptors officially stuck in mediocre-ville for 3 years pending any return on a Valanciunias/ Cory Joseph trade. Mediocre is good for a 3 seed in the East though.

Damn the West is going to be a beast to make it through.
Jokic/ Arthur
Millsap/ Faried
Chandler/ Barton
Murray/ Harris
Mudiay/ Nelson
Not the best defensive squad, but they will be difficult to guard.

@EdKupfer: So far, 47.9 win shares have transferred from the eastern conference to the western conference, 19.9 win shares have gone from west to east.

Can they still re-sign Gallinari?

Galli is gone and looks like the Clippers really like him
I think they also still move Faried or Chandler. Its just too many PF/Tweener on the roster. Wouldnt mind to pick either one up

Adrian Wojnarowski: Free agent George Hill and reps are meeting with the Lakers today in Los Angeles, discussing a one-year deal, league sources tell ESPN.
Really? Figured Hill would have plenty of suitors after his play last season. Maybe he took too much time deciding and the market is dried up.

Bad move by the Lakers IMO. Hill would be a stopgap. They're better off developing their youth and tanking for a strong 2018 draft + Paul George.

@ChrisBHaynes :ESPN Sources: Kevin Durant will agree to re-sign with Golden State on a two-year, approximately $53 million deal, league sources tell ESPN
@daldridgetnt: Durant taking way less than expected--around $25-26M next year instead of $31M--gave Dubs room to bump Iguodala up to $16M per & keep him.
@sam_amick: Side story about Durant: If Andre Iguodala had left, I'm told Durant was going to give even more than this back to make room for Rudy Gay.
@MarkDeeksNBA: EXTREMELY IRRELEVANT SIDE NOTE: Durant will now have the ability to veto any trade he is in.

As much as I think KD is a coward this was nice of him. Curry should've given up some of his $ as KD is clearly the best player on the squad.

I think it boiled down to the fact that Durant has $132m career earnings vs. Curry's $56m, while being in the league only 2 years longer. OKC recognized Durant as a max player from the get-go, whereas GSW got to avoid maxing-out Curry because he was a late-bloomer.
Nice of KD to give up a bit of money to keep the team together -- but he's still a bitch.

@wojespn: Sources: Clippers, Nuggets working on sign-and-trade to send Gallinari to LA on 3-year, $65M deal, but sides still working thru details.
@wojespn: Clippers and Nuggets using Atlanta to take on package of Diamond Stone, Jamal Crawford, and a first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
@wojespn: Sources: Clippers will likely part with first-round pick obtained via Houston in Paul trade. That would go to Atlanta in current framework.
@wojespn: Clippers sold Gallinari on the idea of a Gallo-Blake Griffin-DeAndre Jordan frontcourt. He didn't need to be sold on living in LA.

@BillSimmons: DJ, Blake, Gallo, Beverley, Rivers
Bench: Lou Williams, Harrell, Luc MBM, Dekker
And Blake is out until December
Is that a playoff team?

At least now they have a player who might be able to play small forward, even though he is more of a shooting guard.
