If I am right about the conspiracy; expect quick fouls on Devin Harris. A (relatively) unknown player to the general public, whose loss tonite would completely SCREW the Mavs - Parker & Ginobilli would just go ape-sh*t.

No conspiracy the other way...if there are bad calls against the Spurs, they're just bad calls.

If the Mavs/Spurs game beat out American Idol than expect the officiating to be in the Spurs favor. Stern wants this going 7 games. Its up to the Mavs to not allow that to happen.

The better team that night dominated; but the argument is that Tim, who was single handedly keeping the Spurs in that game, picked up 3 fouls in less than a 90 second span in the 2nd quarter; with the Spurs down by 6. The Spurs did not score a bucket in the final 6 minutes, and by the end of it, were down by 20. (NO WAY Spurs were winning the game anyway, but don't poke holes in my conspiracy!) That game was fixed!

well just to be a butt... doesn't that mean that the mavs have a better team? i mean especially with the jet suspention, if dirk went out with quick fouls we'd be in trouble, but i'm sure we wouldnt have blown up 14 points in the 2nd quarter because our superstar went down early.

now if devin harris went down in a couple of those games... different story. wait did i really just say devin harris > dirk?

In the event someone wanted to poke holes in your conspiracy (which of course would be very bad form)....

Dallas was actually up by 11 when Duncan came out of the game in the second quarter. He had made only one basket and two free throws through the first half of the second quarter. Dallas extended their first quarter lead by 8 in the 6 minutes before Duncan came out and by 7 in the 6 minutes after he came out.

After all was said and done, Duncan could have easily played 40 minutes plus had he not been yanked in the 4th and replaced with the white flag brigade.
