The Mavs probably won't win without Dirk's offense. Maybe those two plays will be the start.

5 points... 6 assists... 4 rebounds....
He's hitting the open man when called upon... and that last minute was vintage Dirk... a throw down.... a post up (and a nice soft roll to boot)... a steal... and an offensive rebound...

<< Much better game today, that's for sure.
Nice to see another Mav player step up. And I would be talking about Griffin. >>
Yeah I was worried about Griff after his tentative play in Game 2, but he's doing his part here in Game 4.

Make a strong finish right now.
It seems every time the Kings come out of timeout, they narrow the gap down.

Raef with the monster block on Divac...that could just make my day if the Mavs win this game.
Buckner needs to finish that layup after a great feed from Nash.

Dirk was just getting his head into the game... and now he takes him out.
Yes he picked up his 2nd foul but there was NO NEED....

Nash is too out of control for my taste right now.
Haha, Divac with the airball.

Woah...did I just hear that was Raef's 1st foul?? It's 1 minute til halftime!!
Where has this Raef been all along? I've always been a supporter of LaFoul, but he's doing very well to keep himself on the floor.

If that isn't a BS call, then I don't know what is.
I really don't.
And way to go Mavs by letting Webber get that rebound and layup.
They should be ashamed.

nve got clobbered on that last attempt!
Does anyone think Nellie will finally realize that Bradley CAN help this team out tremendously on defense and disrupt the Kings' flow for large portions of the game? Why doesn't he play him at least 18-20 minutes a game? It would be HUGE for the Mavs, if he does.

There have been some very dubious calls today. I'm still wondering how Najera got 4 fouls on comparitively minor stuff.

what's with Webber's pulling his jersey up as a way of taunting? does he have lots of tummy hair?

Maybe that tech will get the refs to talk at halftime and realize just what a shitty job they are doing in calling the game. Hard fouls on the Mavs? No calls...Touch fouls on Kings? Free throws.
What is the damn deal with Webber making faces during the game? They look like they might be "I'm such a tough guy" look, but we all know that's not true.
Another thing - If I see 1 more commercial featuring a Laker I may hurl.

How is it that we give up an offensive rebound a free throw?
Nick wasn't fouled... didn't see what Nellie did to get the T...
But it was pathetic all around...

Bradley is a spare - Raef is a better shot blocker and a lot stronger against Webber and Divac.

Four point swing on that last play. Instead of Nick at night at the line, the Kings get a free throw to start the second half. Can anyone box out this overrated punk Webber? They're making him look like Shaq somehow.

I hope the Mavs come out to start the 2nd half like they did to start the game.
Nice words on Fin from Tolbert.

He's overcompensating for the fact that he is really a sissy. There is a psychological term for it somewhere. What a (overrated) punk he is.

That'd be great!
I don't care if he doesn't score again as long as he's staying aggressive. As long as he continues to drive or take the open shot. More importantly though, he needs to keep the rebounding up and the assists is icing. Play decent defense and we'll take a (near) triple-double performance than a 30-15.

does anybody besides me think the six assists by Dirk is a very good sign? been hearing lots about how "passing" is the next thing he needs to work on. looks like he spent the past couple of days just on that? at least it shows good adjustment from all the double-teams he's getting.
go dirk!

I disagree. The Mavs will NOT win without Dirk's offense. The only game we won in the series was when Dirk got hot in the 4th quarter of game 2.
