Its just so hard to come back when you can't get stops.....
so when your offense hits a snag and you get down it's that much harder to win the game.....

Yeah, Dirk usually just completey quits when his shot is ugly. Walker's shot is always ugly so he can't quit.

Pretty funny, but he's scrapping out there. Brings 'em back to within 14. Get it within 10-12 it's a game...

Walker working hard out there.
Steals from Howard, Jamison and Walker have helped cut the lead down.
Walker with the 3.

Jamison's flip shots don't go in the hoop on the road. Strange.

Damn those last two possessions hurt. Save for that layup, I can't fault the effort.

This game is just weird. Really weird.
The energy we have at home is just sucked right out on the road. Walker and Daniels have shown up to play today. Everyone else hasn't.

The Mavs blow layups, the Sonics make them.
I'd love to see one last run at it here to start the 4th. The game can still be won.

RE:Official Mavs @ Seattle, April 10th gameday thread
NEWS: Nash eats Dirks buggars.
Dirk likes to pick his bugars when he's playing bball. I've seen him stick his fingers in his nose couple of times.
And Nash likes to eat Dirk's bugar.
To him, its fingerlicking good.
Has Anyone notice this?

Great job, Nelson. Stick back in the guys who can't hit the side of a barn and aren't defending.
Also, is Calvin Booth so damn good Shawn can't guard him?

Just way too many mistakes and to's.
Not to mention that Steve and Dirk are 4-23.

Only the Mavs can make Ansu Sesay, Luke Ridnour, Calvin Booth, and Richie Frahm look good.

Everytime you think these guys have finally turned the corner they put up a stinker like this. Odd how the Mavs & Stars are both the best teams at home and the worst on the road.

Ridnour is abusing Nash. They have similar games...he's going to be a hell of a player.

They just aren't playing aggressive enough. Period. Seattle has 4 free throw attempts up to this point. This is ridiculous and embarrassing. JUST START GIVING THE BALL TO DANIELS!!!

FWIW, the Mavs have given up 58 points in the paint.
Disgusting.
I have two questions:
1. How badly is Michael Finley hurt?
2. What does a pathetic effort like this say about this team's mental toughness?

God this team is so hard to figure out. The only game where players have played well together has been the LA game. Every other time it has been one player trying to carry the team and that rarely works. Tonight it is Daniels.

This is why defense wins games. If you have no defense and you ever find yourself down, you'll never be able to catch up. This sucks.

RE:Official Mavs @ Seattle, April 10th gameday thread
Just realized what someone else pointed out -- only 4 FTs for the Sonics today.
When they have rarely been to the line and they have 58 points in the paint, that means your defense is so pathetic you're not even getting close enough to foul anybody.
This is worse than the Kings losing in Phoenix. Speaking of the Kings, say goodbye to any mathematical possibility of the 4 seed.
