It's up to us to give Dirk a voice in the world of basketball media. We all know that ESPiN and the like will not. You can take what they force feed you in highlight clips about guys like Nash and Wade and you can hush your mouth, or you can voice your displeasure.

Since when did voicing displeasure over injustice become something to be ridiculed?

For instance, I watched a highlight reel of Houston vs. whoever they played last night. The whole highlight reel was Tracy McGrady hoisting perimeter jumpers time after time with a very excited ESPiN guy espousing his awesomeitude on his way to 32 points. They do not treat Dirk the same way in highlights. They might show him make a couple of plays, but they wont feature his shooting during the highlight reel. Unless Dirk scores 50, they arent going to feature Dirk in the reel like they would Bryant, Wade, Nash, or McGrady.

On that note: Did you realize that Nash is player of the month despite averaging less than his season average this month in scoring (18.0 to 19.3), three point shooting (.457 to .490) and free throw shooting (.846 to .882). He had one more assist than his season average.

Dirk on the other hand averaged 28.8 points (to his season average of 24.9), .502 shooting (.493), .462 on threes (.415), .910 on FTs (.905) and 9.8 Rebounds (9.4). And didn't he call this month the toughest he ever experienced because of schedule and travelling and stuff?
Nash's team was 15-1, Nowitzki's team was 14-2.
Nowitzki also had that ridiculous strech in there where he had 8 straight 20-10 games when noone in the league has had more than 5 in a row this year. Thanks for that MVP preview NBA.

Facts are facts.

The media is line love with the Suns.

They are going to be sorely disappointed wihen the Spurs knock them out in the WCF semi-finals and square off with the Mavs.

For the Suns to even THINK they are better than the Mavs is sheery lunacy...

Oh, and by the way I think the Suns are even with the Mavs as far as talent is concerned. Only one game back and we have not played as many games as they have.

Even in Talent? Doesn't Phoenix have 3 all stars compared to Dallas' 1 all star?

The Suns are a game back in the loss column. Isn't that the key?

Actually they are way above, except for that one big superstar german.

Suns cannot help it if the coaches vote their players in to the all star game.

oh yeah, look at how POORLY amare stoudemire is playing w/o Nash. Nash sure makes him better, Portland is just raping him.

Wait, Amare is a beast. Suns fans cant brag about their 3 all-stars then say Nash should be MVP over Nowitzki, it just doesnt make sense.

Speaking of that game, check out how many minutes the starters are logging. That's seriously gotta take it's toll on them over the rest of the season, especially since their schedule gets tougher from here.
