Good block by Roddy!
BIG no-no for me. They were set for the penalty with like 5 and a half minutes left and they didn't shoot a free throw, and the offense basically went to jump shots. If it's Minnesota, Charlotte or LA, you gotta take advantage of that.

Based on the box score, it doesn't look like Butler has done much so far..

It's fine really.
My, what has happened to Darko Milicic...... wait, nothing, he's always sucked. Unrealized potential. Thanks Larry Brown.

Foul trouble and the jumper hasn't been silky smooth as it was in Charlotte

I understand that Carlisle may be apprehensive about playing Roddy because he is a rookie and he really hasn't played in a competitive league. But how can this kid learn if he isn't given the chance?? Even JKidd said that the only way he'll learn is by getting the experience/playing time. This kid is obviously very talented. He can shoot, he can defend, and he can pass. He just needs to learn on the court, not sitting on the bench forever. I'm not saying he should play major minutes, but how about even 10-15 minutes a night Rick???

So, when Josh isn't shooting well, he continues to shoot. Since Butler's jumper seems to be a little bit off so far, let's see if he'll start driving and forcing the issue.

Roddys situation is kind of the same with George Hill last season. All season long buried on the bench and then in the playoffs it was kind of too late allready. And Pop admitted it...

Roddy playing great....
Najera has he gotten under the skin of the opposing players tonight...really like what he has brought so far. He is the guy who will never get credit for the little things he does to affect a game.

I'm a huge Najera fan too. He'll fit even better when he's not being asked to be our backup center.
