Tyson Chandler was back at practice today and participated in practice. He's not 100% but they're hopeful he will play.

There will be an article on MMB later today.
That's good news, but with Ian and Ajinca, it's not a bad problem to have.

True...but, three games combined (both for GS and Ian with SA) does not paint a complete picture for what you can expect.

Chandler's importance is huge to this team. I mentioned it when alluding to Followill's interview on the podcast, again it plays...if you didn't listen:
A) shame on you
B) you should

I asked him about how Chandler may or may not have passed Kidd in terms of being the most important player versus Dirk obviously being the most valuable player.

paraphrasing, Followill heard Fratello mention David Lee has gone to GS and been vocal and communicating. The Czar elaborated in saying that you need a floor general on the defensive end of the court, just like you need one on offense. A voice needs to be there and direct traffic...it's optimal to have that person be the center so they can see everything out on the floor.

You can relate to football with a linebacker or safety. So his communication skills are huge and the offense is icing on the cake.

So...now you have the voice on offense (Kidd) with a voice on defense (Chandler.

I do not think he was trying very hard defensively in the past. I'm hoping that the change is because of chandler.

1. chandler communicates as a big better than anyone in recent memory. the team has always been criticized for not talking on defense.
2. I don't think chandler is going to put up with a lazy-ass effort defensively. Which is GREAT.

I think having a big taking responsibility for the defense of the team is HUMONGOUS.

I'm re-watching the game and jet was excellent last night. Moving into the lane, giving the ball up...just excellent.
