I really don't know if THJ would be in the league if not on the Mavs.

Mavs are 1/15 for the 3s and they are still up. That must be seen as a good sign of the work they are doing on improving defense.

So sick of this lazy offense where it?s just Luka moving around and everyone else waiting on a 3

I don't think that was a fair jump ball by that official. I think that ball was heavily leaning to the GSW side, and it was also SHORT which preferred the shorter player which again I think was a GSW player. Gafford is probably the lengthiest player on the court right now. That's how officials influence the game. fyi. Just one more way.

That's ONE WHOLE POSSESSION affected and determined by a ref. That can decide a whole game.

Refs can act like that either 1. on purpose or 2. because they are biased. So you can have a ref that purposefully cheats like that. Does things like that on purpose. Or you can have a ref that does such things just because he prefers GSWs or dislikes the Mavs. Doesn't act on purpose but because he simply prefers one side over the other, and some stars over others, he acts a certain way. Like if you were to have a Lakers' fan be ref for a game in which Lakers play. Of course that such an individual would prefer Lebron and their company and would act like that.
Not a single ref in this league prefers Dallas Mavericks. The best Mavs can hope for is some sort of a relatively unbiased ref that doesn't hate the Mavs much. But there are many, many refs that are biased in favour of the Mavs' opposition. And especially big opposition such as Lakers, GSW, etcetera. The whole league is run like that.
And the league distributes all sorts of NEGATIVE NOTES about Luka Doncic to the refs. The league distributes notes such as: He seeks fouls too much, Don't give him fouls on this and on that, etcetera. So that many referees have A NEGATIVE OPINION OF LUKA DONCIC. And the league and the refs have greatly changed how they officiate Luka since he became a big star. And all of that has been done to curtain his success and the success of Dallas Mavericks.
Mavs are a small market team. And the league works to promote the interests of big markets, of big market teams, and of the interests of the individuals running those big markets and big market teams. Those things are very, very obvious. There is a completely different officiating standard used for Lakers' games, for example, and for Lebron than for Mavs' games and for Luka. And that happens regardless of the actual plays involved. Of the situations on the floor.
GSW are a team with one of the most favourable officiating. And that is in spite of the fact that they are A VERY DIRTY TEAM that does VERY DIRTY THINGS including seeking to physically harm opposing players by poking them in the eye, for example, to get them out of a playoff series. NBA officials protect GSW and protect such actions.

Gafford had an offensive rebound during that possession. Offensive rebounds are huge plays. They give huge momentum.

"Should've been interference" was just what one commentator said. Those things are LET TO STAND for GSW. Keeping them in the game.

Many, many things like that. Basketball is such a sport in which officiating can have a great impact on the game.
Unlike, for example, tennis. Tennis has very clear rules so that a referee cannot affect the score. But in basketball officials can control the whole game.

I?m CP3s biggest hater so I relish each season he doesn?t win a ring.
Refs not falling for his flop so he gets a quick tech makes me laugh

Look at this call. Look at HOW LATE the ref is making this call. This is Kyrie Irving. One of the biggest stars in the league. And this is AN OBVIOU FOUL. But the ref doesn't want to call it. So the ref calls it only when he must. When it becomes soooo obvious that Kyrie is even running out of the court.
So the refs make calls like that all the time. For Dallas Mavericks, they make calls only when they feel and think THAT THEY MUST given the situation. And for other teams they officiate in the opposite direction.
So the ref makes this call here only so as to avoid giving an obvious appearance that he is biased. Because it became soo obvious to everyone that it was a foul so he HAD TO make a call.

Look at that video !!!! The ref blew the whistle AFTER THE GSW PLAYER RAISED HIS OWN HAND THAT IT WAS A FOUL. It was so obvious EVEN TO HIM. But it was not obvious to the ref because the league controls the refs that are officiating the Mavs' games. They give them notes and directions on how to ref games, what players are to be given what sorts of calls, etcetera.

This is just one example. There are many, many, maaaaany examples like that in every Mavs game.

So in this play the opposing GSW player RESPECTS Kyrie Irving enough to himself know that was a foul. Because that GSW player knows about basketball, and knows about that situation.
But the ref DOES NOT RESPECT Kyrie Irving. And does not give him that call EVEN THOUGH IT IS SO OBVIOUS.
So that this ref is more biased in the opposition to Dallas Mavericks THAN THAT GSW'S PLAYER WHO PLAYS AGAINST DALLAS MAVERICKS.
It is like that GSW player is saying to the ref: "Come on now. Make that call. This is clearly a foul." But what that GSW doesn't know is that such a situation is NOT clearly a foul FOR DALLAS MAVERICKS.

And here on this photo you can see how and why THJ has such a corrosive impact on the Mavs. Look at him here on this photo TALKING TO DJJ. He is pressuring DJJ here to give the ball TO HIM. To THJ. THJ is messing with DJJ in this situation.
He is telling him things like: "Come on. Pass it to me now. Come on. Come on. I'm hot." And that leads to almost a turnover because DJJ has been messed with.
No player should mess with others the way that THJ is doing that here. THJ is negatively affecting the WHOLE OFFENSE. DJJ should do with that ball whatever is most optimal for the whole team. But THJ prevents that by pressuring DJJ to give the ball to him.

And you can see on this photo from an instance slightly before how THJ is already eyeing DJJ to mess with him and exert pressure on him. That's never a good thing to do on a basketball court. THJ should run onto the offense side, get himself into some sort of a normal position, and seek to create an offensive set-up that is good for the team.
And you can see Luka here looking at what happens with the ball. That is good that Luka is doing that because Luka is the main ball handler so he checks to see if all is ok. THAT IS WHAT KYRIE IRVING SHOULD ALSO BE DOING !!!! Kyrie Irving should also be doing this what Luka is doing here. When somebody else takes the ball then Kyrie Irving should also SUPRVISE LIKE THIS to see who has it, is everything ok, and when should he take it over.

Gafford is what 3 makes away from all time record?
Just want to remind ourselves that many of us have been asking for him for a few seasons. Feels good to see Nico go get him and it turn out exactly how we envisioned.

Yeah but what the hell took so long? I guess better late than never, but we went to the f'in WCF with Maxi and Powell as our goddamn bigs. That kinda crap better be way behind us.
Thankfully Maxi only played 8 minutes this game. He is just simply unplayable. 3 fouls in 8 minutes while doing nothing.

Kyrie gets no respect here too. This seems to be A CLEAR AND OBVIOUS FOUL. When defender raises hands like that he cannot move and move those hands to make contact with the arms of the offensive player. This sort of play should be on the highlight reel as one of the NBA top 10 plays of every night. But because Kyrie plays for Dallas he gets no respect from the refs.
The refs that officiate the Mavs' games are controlled like that. They have specific directions about each player. And Kyrie is now not getting any respect because he moved to Dallas. Even though Kyrie Irving is a major NBA superstar.

Ignore list? I did that, but I'm for in-depth breakdowns. Just gotta do them with links because this site is too old to handle videos/pics of any medium to large size.

I'm partially glad. This team needs to learn to win without him.
Kyrie was cooking last night, and now Hardy gets to see the court.

Agreed, I wasnt expecting to beat Denver either, so I hope they err on the side of caution and sit him until the spurs/jazz/jazz
