All is well in the world.

I thought everybody wanted to play the three seed. Honestly, Dallas probably looked the best out of the higher seeds in the west. That Denver OKC series should still be playing because of that Perkins travesty.

The Spurs have been exposed as the frauds they are.
Get the F out of the league, McDyess.

Seriously, dude? There is absolutely nothing about Memphis's crowd that's any better than Dallas's. You're talking about a fanbase that was so uninterested in the team 2 years ago, you could get season tickets for $250. Total.

He was terrible down the stretch, for most part shot bad in the series, isn't a good passer, is a poor defender. I want a PG in the offseason but I am not a fan of his game, always felt he is overrated. Good scorer with usually a knockdown mid range jumper out to 19 feet, but other than that his game is pretty mediocre

Give Memphis 10 years like the Mavs have had and they wouldn't be near as loud as they were tonight.

ridiculous as in you don't think it's true? rewatch game 6 of the grizz spurs and watch game 1 2 or 5 of the mavs blazers and just try to tell me our crowd is even half as energetic. i really don't see how anyone could even deny this.

Very impressed by Memphis. They had the chance to choke when the Spurs had that 9-0 run in the forth. But they kept attacking with confidence. The good thing is we'll have home court in the WCF.

Let's see. I've been to three games at the Rose Garden. I've been to twenty-plus games at the AAC. I've also been to games at four other NBA arenas.
The Rose Garden is a bit louder than the AAC. That's it. A bit. And FedEx certainly isn't as loud as the Rose Garden. So to act like the gap is so big....well, like I said, positively ridiculous.
Unless you've actually been to games at these arenas like I have, maybe you shouldn't go talking about how one crowd is so much better than the other. There are things I don't like about Dallas fans (the dress shirts, the constant texting during the game), but they are plenty loud, and they sell out every game. So maybe drop it.

After 4 years of preaching to them, maybe now my Spurs friends will understand what I mean when I say "it's not choking, it's running into a matchup that isn't favorable."
And if they don't, I'm going to constantly remind them of choking this one off.

i live in knoxville, tn, and i've been to games at the fedex forum in memphis. have you? granted it's usually not that crazy, and i wasn't there tonight, so all i can go by is what i saw on tv. and what i see on tv is our fans mostly sitting on their hands while the pa announcer pipes in defense chants, and i saw them standing, screaming, waving towels, and celebrating each win like they won a championship. maybe that's it. maybe our fans just expect more and don't get excited over the first round.

I've been to games in Dallas, Orlando, and Miami and out of those three I'd say the Orlando crowd is the loudest. Watching the game tonight and having been to two games in Dallas, I wouldn't say Memphis is that much louder. I think you're stretching a bit.

I just watched the last 6 minutes or so of the Spurs/Griz game. I think I saw McDyess commit about 7 fouls during that stretch...not including the one he was actually called for.

They did allow McDyess to man handle Randolph. Too bad it didn't matter.

It always cracks me up when fans sitting on their rear ends at home get so holier than tho about fans in the arena

It always cracks me up when people won't get off my dick for making an observation. It's not just me, Carlisle himself called out our crowd last week “We need our fans to be like these fans were out here" Why would he say that if the AAC was just as loud as the Rose Garden as stated above? Is he stupid? Was he not at the games? I saw what I saw, let's just leave it at that.
