Mentioned that yesterday on here.
They're kicking the tires on AK-47 which would be a solid move.

So the defending East champs and East leaders feel the need to trade a guy who was a substantial contributor on their title team (and their almost-title team). Interesting.
Also interesting that the Celtics apparently don't "love their boys in green."

Looks like they didnt want to pay perkins and have no problem to give the team with the best young core a missing key piece

Now they're saying Nate Robinson is going to OKC too. I find that funny only because he tweeted this morning asking if any more trades had happened. Little did you know, Nate.

I think that deal makes the Thunder a lot weaker.
Yes they got a very good defending center. But Green's ability to play the 3/4 with Durant made it a very toigh cover. Now they are more traditional.
The Mavs matchup better with the Thunder now than they did before he trade. (And am talking about postr Caron, with Caron it didn't matter as much).

The Thunder defense is horrible this season and they got killed at the boards.
Thunder got better.

What makes him a tough cover? He is a mediocre jump shooter that shoots quite a few jumpers, he doesn't get to the line, much shoots poor percentage from three and from the field

Can't believe the Suns gave up on Dragic. He has so much more upside than Aaron Brooks, IMO. Ask the Spurs.

Thunder also get Nazr Mohammed for DJ White and Mo Pete. They suddenly have a lot of size. I'm not too concerned about Nazr though.

I like how all of the West is sucking after the deadline:
Thunder-down
Memphis-down
Houston and Phx-down
Denver-down
Utah-down
The bottom half of the Western Conference suddenly doesn't look so tough. The toughest team still sppears Portland (with or without Roy.)

And upside. Key word. Sigh.

Nice of Memphis to trade Thabeet for another first round pick that they can then sell to Dallas for $3 million on draft night.

Meh, Jeff Green sort of sucked for the Thunder. I'm pretty sure almost every Thunder fan is happy that he's gone.

Green is a lot to give up for Perkins.
Trading Dragic seems really dumb, especially for quits on his team Aaron Brooks.

I'm not sure I agree that Memphis is down. Mayo was a distraction and getting outplayed by Sam Young. Battier seems like the kind of guy they need. I think Phx will be about the same and the Thunder could be better.

Donnie said that once you've got chemistry, you've got to keep it. He feels the team can make the run for the roses.

Boston giving up Perkins was a terrible move. Their defense was their bread and butter, and after the hit they took in the finals when he went down they should have known better.

Defensively? Yeah because Nenad is awful. But offensively? No way. Green and Nenad allowed Westbrook and Durant to be able to go. They spread the floor with their ability to shoot and score. The Thunder don't have that.
