Been listening to a few Dallas bands...
Tober Omi - Dirigibles (Awesomely awesome debut. Good if you like Tom Waits or Man Man, or even the Paper Chase or Single Frame)
Dove Hunter - The Southern Unknown (Impressive Americana/Alt-Country/Rock debut album.)
Pegasus Now - Careless Loveseeds

Metallica, Iron Maiden, Blue Oyster Cult, ELO, Toby Mac, Lacrae, Toby Keith, Slade, Queesnryche, Kansas, Journey...and a ton of others...

Speaking of Filter. u heard their one?.........Crap
I don't understand why bands want to sound like U2.
Especially bands like Filter and Linkin Park, who kinda had there own sound.

Not many here strike me as Metallica fans...heck I don't really listen to that kind of music anymore, but this new Metallica CD really harkens back to a 'And Justice For All' kind of feel...not sure why there's any singing at all when clearly they are just interested in kicking arse for as long as a cd will play for. A million and a half times better than St. Anger anyway.
