I don't think it's actually gone yet. This week was planned to be a repeat from the beginning, and they just gave FNL a shot at their audience.
It was supposed to be a one time thing, but I guess that can change.

NBC continues to stand behind Aaron Sorkin's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" in the wake of continuing speculation that disappointing ratings threaten to knock one of its flagship new fall shows off the air.
The latest round of rumors followed a weekend report from a Fox News Web site that said the highly promoted and expensive series faced "imminent" cancellation.
Not true, said NBC officials, who ordered three more scripts for the series last week and are expected to decide soon whether to produce more episodes for the spring.
"I'm sitting here right now with some very good television shows that I think have a lot of promise that need to be nurtured a little bit," said NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly in reference to "Studio 60," "30 Rock" and "Friday Night Lights." "I'm pulling for these shows and I'm trying to figure out what's the midseason schedule that can give them a chance, because I really believe some of these can really grow into

good news, I suppose. So that seems to indicate that we'll see episodes up to the mid-season break. So 12 or 13 episodes.
I hope Sorkin will be allowed to write a "Finale" script if it indeed comes to that, and the show just doesnt get cancelled in the middle of something.

I wish they'd just keep it until midseason, and then just move it somewhere. Hell, move it to tv hell, Friday or Saturday nights, I don't care. Just as long as I can record it.
Homicide Life on the Streets is a great example of a critically acclaimed show that really never got any traction, was moved to Friday nights, and still survived for a long time due to its core viewer group.
There is hope, I think.

I dunno about Flac or anyone else that watches Studio 60, but I thought last night's episode was PHENOMENAL.
Loved it. Just loved it. No average skits, none of the stuff a lot of people have been complaining about, and some really good humor mixed in.
I refuse to believe this show won't make it.

Well, hopefully I didn't oversell it.
But for me, easily the best episode of the season.

ok, finally saw this too.
Good show. I need more Matt Perry though. Man does Goodman look old and fat. That poor dude is going to have a heart attack or something.
I know Sorkin loves the in-fighting via the network execs, and we saw it in Sports night, but is that story interesting enough? I think he may want to consider putting these folks through some everyday people problems before he takes a run at every network exec he's ever known.
very good show though. and the sketch was funny for a change. good deal.

I dunno if any other fans saw this, but Studio 60 has officially been picked up for the entire 22 episode season.
It's also expected to be moved within the next few weeks.

This is good news indeed.
And Im glad it's getting moved I think....just as long as it isn't Friday. My guess is Wednesday. Though I like that one-two punch of Heroes and Studio 60.
And I didn't see last nights episode yet, but my lady said it was damned good. Can't wait to get home.....

Studio 60 lovers....thiggy, sike, check this out.....
http://www.beliefnet.com/blogs/idolc...-personal.html
apparently the story line with the gay comments and the press is barely a story at all, and closely resembles real life occurences with a past relationship of his.
kinda weird....
I wonder if he considers Matt Perry's character a little autobiographical?

Daybreak showed more than a little potential last night. As long as the premise doesn't grow stale, I'd say that a '24'-like, violent, Groundhog Day-inspired series might just end up being pretty gosh darned good, before all is said and done...
