I'm sure he was just telling the ump "That's how they do" and "That's how it go" and all of those other wonderful verb conjugations.

Good - setup the double play. As long as it is 6,4,3 we are up 2-0.

Yeah, I will take 6 more too, but I am not greedy. Just score one more than Feliz will give up is fine enough for me.

Good news is that Feliz has had rest so he should be at top form.

Man, .300 average against with a 1.13 ERA. That means a good defense behind you.

What it more likely means is that there's a small sample size.

Actually let me correct myself - we are only a half a game out of first place.

Another Harrison/Felix match-up tomorrow. First time was the horrible, horrible Frankie performance giving up 3 runs in the top of the 9th after Harrison pitched his tail off. Hopefully the first 8 innings go as last time with Feliz closing the game, despite it being a back-to-back situation. I sure hope they don't roll Frankie back out there given what happened last time.

The rotation is looking rather solid at the top. I'm happy with a front three of Wilson, Lewis and Feldman in whichever order... Plus, there's always a chance that Harden re-gains his command. Regardless, he's still a decent fit for now. Harrison better shape up quickly. He has a couple of gentlemen that are knocking on the door loud and clear wanting shots in the big leagues ASAP.
It's nice to have options.

Harden has to re-gain his command and his velocity to be anything close to what we thought we were getting.
But if CJ and Lewis keep up their high level of pitching, Harden being the 4th starter won't be the end of the world I suppose.

It was still down, but not way down. He was 96-99 last night instead of the 93-97 he was the last outing in Texas.
That would seem to jive with my theory on the gun here at home. Or maybe he was just more rested.
But he does need to get that velo back up just another tick.

What a game last night!!! Helped to take these ole Mav blues away!!!
Lewis leading the league in Strikeouts, and the most for the month of April since Nolan Ryan.
Feliz shutting things down, closing out with a 99 Mph last pitch strikeout!!!
Now for a quick turn-around for a day game!!!
Regarding Lewis...is he now the "Ace" of this staff?
Let's hope the bats can come alive...these pitchers are holding their own, but the bats have a ways to go...when is the last time us Ranger fans were more excited about our pitching than our hitting?

I can agree with much of this about Harden. I think his velocity was already a bit down last season.. He just needs to find some command because team's aren't really hitting him all that hard once the ball is finally put in play. It's just a matter of getting the damn ball in play. Opposing batters are only hitting .250 off of him. I have a feeling that this number would be significantly lower if he wasn't pitching in so many hitter friendly counts all the time.

Well, I'm hopeful that the Rangers can have 4 guys that are all solid #2-3 type starting pitchers. We've seen Feldman pitch at that level last year. His start to the season so far is more like a 4, but he was great in his last outing. Wilson has been the best on the staff so far with Lewis running a close second. Now if Harden can only start throwing like a #2 or 3 starter, this rotation will look pretty damn good.

Felix gives up 3 in a bad inning but he catches a break because we have Harrison up there pitching. Just can't seem to win when Felix is up there.

I love Smoak already. I fully expect hits to start dropping from him, but his approach at the plate is awesome.
Harrison is killing me. He's like Harden. Just throw some freakin' strikes and stop trying to be perfect.

Harrison probably shouldn't have given up a run. He wasn't all that sharp, but 1 of his 3 runs was unearned. The other two scored directly as the result of Kinsler not making a play that he should have made. It was ruled a hit, but it was definitely a play he should make 95% of the time.

I wonder if CJ is for real? I watched today's game and he had Seattle looking silly at times.
