Man, that ankle roll looked nasty -- put all his weight on it while it was sideways.
UPDATE: apparently it's just a sprain.

On vacation in Asia and just seen the DSJ highlights...what level is our collective hard on right now? 10?
Going to be a fun season regardless of record.

That was just plain sick. Incredibly skilled for a player his age. I was wondering if they messed up taking him over Jackson but absolutely not.

I think a few players have looked good so far. Tatum and Isaac look very solid and both have tremendous natural talent.
I mean, the Vegas summer league especially is so talented that you can no longer just write it off as meaningless.

I was never more excited to see a Mavs summer league game than yesterday.
Looking forward to today's match up as well -
Sunday, July 9 ~ 3:30 p.m.: Suns vs. Mavericks (checked and confirmed - on ESPN not nbatv)

LOL, I was going to answer your first sentence with your second sentence... Can't wait to see DSJ now that he's got the jitters out of his system.

Absolutely, not to mention what DSJ will be able to do going to the rim when teams can't afford to double team him like that

Yeah, and he's gonna have Noel helping him bull into the paint as well.
Like, seriously, Smith Jr. and Dallas might be the best player-team match in the draft.

Smith is the real deal -- IQ, athleticism, knowing when to attack, when to back off.. he's not going to be good, he IS good... he's going to great.

DFS is just such a negative on offense. He really needs to start hitting wide-open threes.

Smith's game is just so developed for someone his age. Hate to sound like a broken record but wow his IQ, skill, and basketball development are all very underrated. And he's doing work on good NBA defenders -- Kris Dunn & Derrick Jones Jr.

Shouldn't we work to get Bender some easy buckets? Instead they are all up in his business on defense...

Really the only aspect of his DSJ's game that's missing is a consistent jumper. His defense, ability to run an offense, and skill are all better than advertised. His athleticism and explosive first step are as advertised.

That and his ability to play off ball although it might be just the simplicity of the summer league offense
