That ORB by Boozer may have sealed it.
Then again, I don't put it past the Warriors to take a three here.

It's sooooo easy.
Just don't allow them to shoot 50% from 3P range.

Looks like the Jazz get this one. But as hard as they had to fight for it...it looks like Warriors in six.

It's amazing what not having players on the court that are total liabilities on offense can do... it's also amazing what having a PG on the court can do.

Rebounding doomed the Warriors in this one... but they played the Jazz well on their homecourt.

Why does it look like the Warriors in 6? Didn't the Warriors fight equally hard just to lose the game?

Although I probably wouldn't want to see Dirk take that many threes (Okur took 9)... that's still a really good point.

There were a couple, at least, moments where Golden State threatened to run the lead out to a commanding margin. If they are at home, it probably happens.
If you don't think there is any homecourt advantage...well, then I just don't know what to say.

But which game will they steal from Utah?
Except Avery's gimmick game, GS has yet to win on the road.

wow, a lot of trash talking. From my perspective it looks like the Jazz struggled to win at home against a team that was apparently feeling very under the weather. The Jazz showed absolutey no ability to control the pace of the game. If Jackson's open three at the end falls, then the Jazz would likely have gone down 0-1 and be looking straight in the eyes of a probable sweep. Hand it to them though, they did what it took to win. Let's see if they can do it three more times.

Please. This one was basically a coin-toss.
Now, if Utah plays coin tosses in Oakland, then okay. But I think the Dubs will win their home games easily.

I think you're right that GS will not lose at home (unless they are completely off), but I don't see GS getting better in Utah either.

Still looks like the Warriors in 6 to me. I seriously doubt Utah can compete in Oakland and I think the Warriors will take at least one of the next two in Utah.

I think the Warriors have this series. They made the Jazz work HARD for this win, and it was only a 4 point W on the road with the Warriors not even playing close to their best.

On the contrary, Jazz made Warriors work just as HARD....for a loss.

Utah needed otherworldly performances from a couple of guys, just to eke this one out in the end. This series could still very well go only five games. I think it will go six, but five would not at all shock me.
The Dubs were just a little bit off tonight. Too many turnovers. If they get that straightened out, the Jazz will have to continue to see Okur and Williams play like all-pros in order to push it to seven.

I agree, not to mention Harpring with 21 and AK actually showing up.

Yep, and he even outplayed Baron Davis.
Is the only reason Deron Williams played so well today because he's been given such a long leash in his first two years (because the Jazz had no other options), or is he just that much better of a #5 draft pick then Devin Harris? Not dogging Harris at all, just curious about the thoughts of others.

Harpring should have a field day in this series --- he's a low post SF, and GSW has to worry too much about Boozer and others to pay him too much attention, so he should get plenty of looks close in the basket on dive cuts, back cuts and quick posts, just like he did tonight.
AK was a terror on defense, and since he's not a center and is used to chasing around SFs, he didn't get too exposed on the perimeter.

The whole key is rebounding. I dont care whether your offense is the 96 bulls or a high school team, if you get out rebounded 54-36 your gonna lose, especially on the road.
And Boozer had a pretty bad offensive game (6-15) and was still able to dominate. Imagine what happens when he shoots 55%+ like he normally does.
Ima stick with Jazz in 6.

Harpring is a Warrior killer, has been his whole career. And if the Warriors continue to attack the basket without realizing AK is on the floor, he might average a good 5 blocks for the series. AK is back.

Theh Dubs were just testing the water tonight, as is usually the case when a team starts a series on the road. Yet, they still almost got a win.
I'll put it this way. The Jazz did a good job tonight of staving off the sweep.
This thing goes six, maximum. Unless the Jazz pull off a miracle and send it to seven.

you can't be serious? GS best chance was tonight. the road team rarely wins a game 2. GS let one go here. It was GS's pace and they still blew it.

Rarely? Historically, the home team up 1-0 is 65% in the second game.
If you think the Warriors aren't in the 35%, you are crazy.
This thing is going 1-1 back to Oakland.

What if Utah doesn't turn the ball over 20 times and Boozer shoots better than 6-15? What if Al Harrington doesn't finally show up for the playoffs?
Each game is is own unique entity so you can't just say "we'll continue to do all the good things, cut down on the bad and we'll win the series? Because Jazz fans could use that same logic.
