You are about the dumbest f' on this board. He shoots that shot all the time and hits it at a high clip. Get off his f'ing ass for shooting shots that he hits at a high clip especially when it's f'ing wide open.

Mavs on their heels...
Gotta go harder at the basket, we are letting them dictate pressure on the ball.

I'd like to see Dirk play some three against the Pistons. If we had a four like...say...Tarpley, that is. I guess I might consider what Damp and Diop would look like together out there. Except that the fouls might add up rather quickly. Maybe Benga could play some four against these guys.

What, let them shoot free throws? Mavs are really undermaned. Mavs are playing 3 on 5 out there.

Yeah, I was gonna say earlier...for Dirk that is not a fadeaway in the sense that we generally use that term. For Dirk it's among the highest-percentage shot in his repertoire.
And then again, by now I think it's safe to assume that if Dirk doesn't have a step on his defender, he ain't getting the call if he barrels inside.

I'd really like to see DA actually try and play defense instead of just trying to draw the charge even when it's not even close.

yea dirk shooting it with his shoestrings tied together from 8 feet is a good shot.
Of course he is the leading scorer in the game. Mavs gotta take care of their glass. Also jason needs to put more pressure on them. If we sit around the perimeter they are going to press us, need to put more pressure on their defense.

I am. It wasn't close. Block was the correct call.
With 2.5 seconds left in the half, I'm shocked that the Mavs didn't use a TO to advance the ball... You can advance the ball to half court after a made FT by using a TO, can't you?

Dirk mauy have a natural fadeaway but there is a difference between naturally fadeaway on your shot and fading away "shying away" on the play.
Dirk shot at least 4 shots that were "shying away" shots.
Idf that makes me a dumbfu*ck... I don't really care

These NBA TV announcers are hardcore Pistons homers. Anytime the Mavs do something they say some dumbass comment like 'they'll come back down to earth' or comment how JKidd's defense wasn't what limited Billups, it was just Billups not coming to play...eventhough JKidd has a nice track record of stopping PGs, including Billups and Nash the other night.

Two things that are killing the Mavs.
1. Only two positions on the team are grabbing boards.. PF and C.. Dirk, Diop, and Damp
2. Second chance points (which obviously has alot to do with #1)
One thing that is hurting just about as badly.
Dirk is cold.

I'm not sure, but I'd recommend keeping it in that exact order...

What the heck is the deal with Rawle Marshall? He's playing like he's in awe or something, like he doesn't want to offend anyone...
Come on Rawle, get your young butt in the game. He's sure looking like a NBADL right now.
