I love Green. Would have loved to have him this past summer had he not come to an agreement with GS.

John Schuhmann: Nets announce that Jarrett Jack has a torn ACL. Out for the season.

Anybody on their roster that we could use? Assuming our PG's all get healthy at some point maybe we could give up Harris/Felton?

Only guy on that roster I'd even think about is Brook Lopez and I'm pretty sure they aren't trading him. That, and he's earning 20 mill to put up a fairly inefficient 20-9 (42nd among centers in rebounding rate-- Zaza is 7th). Other than that Young is a decent bruiser, but plays Dirk's position and they have some young developement guys that they probably aren't hip to trade.
If people wanted to dump Parsons, though, that would be one of the more possible trades.

Jack was about to get traded here and then he got hurt. Terry was going to go back to the Nets and then get bought out with hopes of signing with the Mavs.

Not sure why people keep giving Lionel Hollins a job... I mean, what did the Nets expect?

Hard to sell a franchise when you suck and don't own a first round draft pick outright until 2019. Peckerov tried to come in, sell off all assets to get good and walk away. Instead he just mortgaged the farm and the team is one of the worst. I'd imagine they'll try to reduce salary and collect picks prior to selling the team. Probably a good fire sale for young guys and picks. We only have second rounders, but could potentially take advantage.

On draft day Mavs will have 2017 1st round pick they could use. Problem is that Nets don't have anything interesting in their roster.

I think you have the premise backward. Why would Lionel Hollins take the Nets job? Easy answer: Paycheck.
Hollins is a decent coach, probably not elite, but he's certainly not working with elite players in the Nets situation. Hollins did a solid job with Memphis a couple of years ago, and had them playing at a reasonably high level in 2012 and 2013. They lost that 7-game series to a Clippers team that had superior talent, and then got caught up in the Spurs meat grinder the next year. His non-renewal with the Grizzlies seemed kind of unfair at the time, just as his firing from the Nets does today. The Nets are Billy King's mess, and ultimately Prokhorov's.
Hollins has solid credentials and NBA pedigree. He's paid his dues. His strength and his weakness is that he is an old school, defensive-oriented, tough love kind of coach. He seems like he gets cross-ways interpersonally with both players and management, and he's old enough that he's unlikely to change. But I don't think the Nets situation is a fair barometer of his, or probably anybody's coaching ability. They have been a revolving door for decent NBA coaching talent for the last 5-6 years. Avery Johnson, P.J.Carlessimo, Jason Kidd. I actually have a little bit more regard for Kidd's decision to parachute out of Brooklyn after a year. Clearly he saw under Prokhorov's skirts, and immediately fled toward greener pastures in Milwaukee
The real question is why anyone keeps giving Billy King a job.
And the other real question is who is going to pay Calipari $120MM to coach in the NBA, given his demonstrated record of failure and dishonesty.

They just showed a stat where harden is one of 6 or 7 players in nba history who have 10,000 points and have more ft's made than fg's made. Biggest fraud ever lmao.

So amazing that the Spurs once again are an afterthought in the media despite being 35-and-effing-6. You read more about the Thunder, Clippers and Kobe than them. They should feel very good about themselves and with Pop at the helm and their experience, I'd even put them over the Warriors currently.

Combine that with the body of work so to speak of last years playoffs and it speaks for itself as far as I'm concerned. Not sure if he is the most dirty though as I haven't watched enough Cavs games. I wonder of the 24 polled how many were Eastern conf. From all the quotes and the results I'd wager a significant amount were from the East.

And Carmelo Anthony deserves a Lifetime Achievement Award for those punches from behind earlier in his career.
Dellavadova is small potatoes.

Stephen Curry is averaging 30/5,3/6,4/2,1 on 51/45/91
Cant really lose many games with that and Klay Thompson and Draymond Green putting up Superstar Numbers aswell.

Andre Drummond: 2-4 from the field and a paltry 13-36 from the charity stripe (set a record for most missed FTs in a game)... Despite employing hack-a-Drummond, Rockets still lose by 9.

I still think Green is the glue that holds that team together since he can pretty much play every position on the court.
