Dirk shot the ball 2 times (1) in the 3rd quarter. Think about that. 2(!) times in a quarter in which they score only 19 points. You have to get him shots. That was piss poor offensive gameplanning.

And defensively the didn't want to rebound or protect the paint.

The Mavs clearly look tired, no doubt.

But I'm not going to agree that the Suns are all that special. Yeah, they're not missing. But they're also not hitting many contested shots. Most of these have been bunnies or wide open perimeter shots. The closest thing to a contested jumper that they've been hitting is Richardson's post-ups on Terry. And since there is a 6 inch differential there, that shouldn't be surprising.

Dallas (or the old "Allas" moniker for tonight) didn't come to play tonight pure and simple.

This was kind of a freak performance from Phoenix. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Mavs beat the Nuggets and the Hornets.
