There are still players left and Mavs might get Bev and Green, but it feels like getting blindsided right now. Didn't think it would go this fast.

For the Favors fans we had here a while back he's going to have to be cut to make room for Bojan.

Green/Beverley/Diallo would make us one hell of a scrappy defensive team.

You don't have to trade shit for Brogdon if you offer him a bigger deal and he tells the Bucks to suck it.

I certainly wouldn't offer anyone left on the market anything that would disrupt that possibility.

I think the Pacers offered the 1st to get a trade done and in the bag.
Just offering Brogdon an offersheet and your money is stuck until july 8th and the Bucks may still match. And then there arent other good FAs left

Yeah but our main competition for his services are the Knicks, and I'm just not sure about that...

Why both?
Both are decent 3D Pgs
Green is a lot less intelligent though

I just can't believe how "all in" we were with Kemba Walker as far as big names go. So weird.

@wojespn: Free agent F Rodney Hood has agreed to a two-year, $16M deal to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, CAA agents Ty Sullivan and Austin Brown tell ESPN. Deal includes a player option.

Weird day so far. Lots of quality names that would have fit perfectly drop like flies. Yet Mavs seem confident. Looks like they were never pushing hard for Brogdon and Bogdanovic etc. and have other plans.

We can still walk away with two nice win now elite roleplayer, so lets see. Main fact is that their contracts are moveable in 2021...
But we really need win now player. Luka and KP have to see the playoffs to attract FAs in the future.

We're gonna be held hostage by Kawhi and we're not even trying to sign Kawhi.

The pessimist in me is just waiting for the press release from mavs that they were in on multiple deals that just fell through but they are happy with the acquisitions of KP and extending Powell. That they feel both are long term pieces to a contender.

@wojespn: Free agent forward Tobias Harris has agreed to a five-year, $180M contract to return to the Philadelphia 76ers, his agent and father, Torrel Harris of Unique Sports Management, tells ESPN.

Wasn’t hard to see this coming... It was one of the reasons I really liked going hard for Vuc, because at least we have that International presence so if we had heavily pursued him and made it clear he was our number 1 priority from the beginning, I think we would’ve got him. Even if I would’ve been proven wrong on fit, he would’ve still been a very attractive chip to hoard towards future trades, etc. Danny Green, etc - not so much.
Eh well, locking up Porzingis does make it a positive all things considered and hopefully they get Bev and, who knows, maybe they take a chance on a guy like Cousins and it proves at least positive from a future trade perspective, if not from a talent perspective.

Role player? 40 50 90 type guy at 18 ppg for 2/27. I'd take that for 30 mins a game.
