Funny enough they actually broke his mechanics down on MLB Network. They compared it to when he threw the first pitch back in 2003. His mechanics were actually pretty damn good. His follow through was just crazy though lol, it was just all arms and legs.
Randy Johnson-ish. If this basketball thing doesn't work out, maybe he has a spot in the bullpen ;-)

8-1, looks like some of Dirk's excess winning rubbed off on the Rangers (not that they needed his help or anything...)

He's still in the US. Think he was planning on going back to Germany this weekend or early this coming week.

Btw, another nice gem. Did you know that only two players in NBA history have won MVP, Finals MVP, the Championship and the Three Point Contest. One small hint: Their initials are DN and LB.

I was trying to think of the complete list of "great" (loosely) players that Dirk (and the Mavs, obviously) have beaten in the playoffs.
Malone, Stockton, KG, Rasheed, Pippen, Chris Webber (lol), Yao, McGrady, Pau, Duncan, Manu, Nash, Kobe, Durant, LeBron, Wade
Am I missing anyone important?

A 37-year-old Scottie Pippen, 2003.

Healthy Yao, Parker (debatable whether he's "great" I guess, but he is a 3x all-star and a Finals MVP).
