*edit* Ignore this. Got deceived by a faulty box score.

This is a hell of an entertaining Dubs/Lakers game. For anyone who thinks Stern rigs every game for Kobe and the Lakers, try to explain Kobe getting two critical calls against him at the end of regulation and in overtime.

Monta Ellis is a freakin' stud.

Why aren't they stopping the game to get the blood off Kobe's face?

Four seconds left, the Dubs to inbounds down two.

Vujocic has been huge for LA.

Offensive foul on Monta Ellis. Lakers should win.

Does the awful call against the Warriors just now change your mind on this?

Given the situation, that's one of the most head-scratching calls I've ever seen. Looked like a good time for a no-call.

Lakers win 123-119 (for real this time, sorry about before). Thank you Lakers--no offense to the Dubs.

No. Ellis was fighting through the defense (which was moving all the way, mind you), so he at least brought about the opportunity for the call to happen. It's not like it was created out of mid-air, in other words. You don't rig games by counting on a scrum like that with four seconds to go. You rig them by making questionable judgment calls along the way, at earlier stages.

It was a very entertaining game, and the Dubs have only themselves to blame for not capitalizing on earlier opportunities in the overtime.

It was actually a joke, or at least tongue-in-cheek. I don't believe that the NBA rigs games or has an agenda.

Can't believe I stayed up for this game. Its 1:24am EST. I was hoping the Lakers would do us a favor and beat Golden State. Well, it was worth it. Entertaining game too. Lakers were up by a comfortable margin and as expected, GS came back. Fortunately, Lakers won.

Thanks Lakers.

The Yahoo box score that was messing with me earlier now says:

Lakers 135, Warriors 127.

Sheesh.

That was another great game against the Warriors and Lakers. What a heartbreaker for the Warriors though who now fine themselves only a 1/2 game ahead of Denver. The games between those 2 teams are going to be extremely important in the race for the playoffs.

The Spurs are up 2 on the Magic at the half. Hedo went out with a sprained wrist and Nelson was hit accidently by Howard in the jaw. Both will not return.

The Hornets are up 3 on Indiana at the half. Pacers giving the Hornets some fits. Hopefully they'll give us a present tonight.

Hornets beat the Pacers but they face Cleveland tomorrow and Boston on Friday.

Spurs beat Orlando behind 28 from Ginobli and a season high 24 from Finley. They play the Clippers tomorrow and Minnesota on Friday. They could be looking at 1st in the division if NO loses both games.

Of course Houston only plays Minnesota tomorrow before a showdown with the Spurs on Sunday.

Nice to see Finley have a good game. He's really been struggling as of late. Perhaps Barry's return has lit a fire under him.

I can't feel too bad about losing to Boston considering that the streaking hot Suns are getting destroyed by them. Granted, it's on the road, but we actually hung with Boston on the road the entire game earlier in the year without a PG or Stackhouse.

Same P-Dub. The Celtics are so impressive though. Their defense is astounding. Their rotations are unbelievably quick. It's a joy to watch them on the defensive end of the court.

The celtics have a great shot of winning the championship this year, their defense is just amazing. Is there some way cubes can get Doc Rivers assistant coach? My god that man is a defensive guru.

But that's for a whole other discussion entirely.

I regret it because if we had changed the offense Devin could have had better assist numbers, come on now think about it Devin barely could get any assists on a team that won 67 games but now he is getting tons of assists on the nets?! It's our offense that needed to be changed, this trade was unnecessary imo.
