There's only one run separating these teams, but the approaches of the two pitchers on the mound are totally different. Carpenter isn't dicking around, is throwing strike one, and doing what his team needs him to do. CJ... is not.

Since we belabored it so much, interesting that it went 3-2 after five, with the good guys in the lead. Not that it necessarily matters...but I don't know about you all...I feel better with the 3-2 lead going to their park, with Carpenter having been done with, than I'd feel if I were down 2-3 with the next game at our park.

We're around 75% to win this, no?

Woke up this morning and was on cloud 9. What a game. What a series. What a playoff run. What a year! We are so lucky to be fans of this team right now. Those that have been here from the beginning and fed off of tripe are being greatly rewarded with daily helpings of filet mignon. So lucky.

For the record, I am ALL over Fielder at 1B for us. Dude can SMASH! Look at what Napoli and Beltre did for our team. Obvious difference is both can play defense - well, but still. Prince isn't HORRIBLE in that respect as he had a -0.7 dWar last year and -0.8 is his worst year on record. To put that into perspective, Mitch had a -0.5 this year.

Dude can SMASH though and at 5.2 WAR he would absolutely help our team. You think we are hard to face now? Imagine him being a part of this beast of a lineup.

Quite early to start thinking about next year obviously - let's focus on the prize at hand, but yeah, consider me on board. Absolutely on board.

Eh, is who he is. Has done it all year long on the radio with Ben and Skin - even after huge losses. He is the team's comedy relief. Did look bad though for people watching the game not fully understanding his character and role in the clubhouse. Holland definitely could have had better judgement considering the score.
