Stack....the Mavs have to take advantage of the Spurs when Duncan is on the bench. Is it possible for you to not go into the lane out of control?

Horry completely flopped on that play --- I hate that call in the NBA these days, no matter who gets the benefit.

I'd rather see DA play defense than try to draw the charge.

Kerr made a comment in his pregame analysis on Yahoo Sports that Duncan is the best player on the floor --- last time I checked, Dirk is the first team all NBA'er this year, and he's playing like it so far.
Too bad Stack couldn't have knocked in that three, but 37 - 27 is a great start for the Mavs. 36 minutes to go.

Because of matchups, Duncan has been the best player on the court in this series. But, that could easily swing in Dirk's favor by the end of the game.

End of the first quarter, and the Mavs shoot 15-18. Incredible. Law of averages says that they can't keep making shots at an 80%+ clip...need to get the Spurs shooting percentage down from the 61% from the first quarter.

Honestly, none of AJ's moves involving who's on the court and who's not has really done a thing to negatively impact the Spurs.
He's fine with KVH playing Duncan. He doesn't care of DA gets minutes. He could care less if Dampier started over Diop.

Duncan probably has slightly better stats, and he certainly has the matchups in his favor, but in my opinion he hasn't played at a level that is head and shoulders above Dirk to this point --- not like Lebron easily being the best player on the floor in the Cavs/Pistons series, at least imho.

Seems like Dirk is making better decisions of when to shoot over, when to draw the double and when to pass.

I know Eva Longoria is hot, but I swear to God they never make it through a spurs telecast without showing a clip of her in the stands. I couldn't care less.
