If you want to compare antics, Jet's works. He holds his arms level, bends low, and glides across the court.
Chris Andersen wildly flaps his arms up and down like some schizophrenic mental patient while running around in circles. He might be cawing too, I'm not sure.

Sounds like our road to an NBA Championship is Spurs>Nuggets>Lakers>Cavs. That's 3 seed, 2 seed, 1 seed, 1 seed and we're a 6 seed. If we were to pull that off, it may be the greatest upset in sports since NC State.

The Rockets won it when they were a #6 seed. Just fyi.
edit*
As a #6 seed (47-35): they beat #3 Utah Jazz (60-22), #2 Phoenix Suns (59-23), #1 San Antonio Spurs (62-20), and #1 Orlando Magic (57-25).

Come on, that's a bit hyperbole. And CA's works too, just as effective in pumping up the crowd, they love that guy.

I find the "Jet on the Runway" very annoying and contrived.

Let's go Brandon Roy!
As long as the Suckston Rockettes lose, I'm happy.

Watching this Portland/Houston game is like watching grass grow. Holy crap.
It's not defense. It's that they freaking suck at scoring the ball. I've never seen such stagnation and half court set constipation. Bleah. I thought we didn't do this in the West?

LOL Rockets win on a phantom call. No one touched Battier after that missed 3 by Blake. At least it didn´t seem someone did. No good replays as allways with controversial calls. Bad desicion by Blake though taking that shot. Damn Portland should have gotten this game at the end. F the Rockettes. The series isn´t over.

Yeah, but sometimes refs are quick to call a foul simply because they expect the losing team to intentionally foul anyway.

Are you serious? Both are top10 defensive teams and also have guys who can score. Roy was off today but he´s one of the best scorers around. This was a very hard faught game. Portland made a great run at the end and just came up short.

Sure but Battier lost the ball out of bounds. Should have been Portland ball with around 8 sec to go down three.

I'm sorry. I thought the shot selection by both teams in the second half was atrocious. And I can't understand why Portland plays so much slower on the road.

True about the shot selection. Especially the play calling on the Houston side was pretty bad in the 2nd half. Still both teams played pretty good D IMO.
Portland tried to run at times. Houston just wont let them with great transition D.

Wow, Hornets nearly gave a ten point lead away in the last 3 minutes. That was a hard game.

These Hornets/Nuggets games show just how badly the Mavs match up with the Hornets (i.e. Paul). The Hornets aren't even that good.

I'm sorry, but this female announcer on the Lakers-Jazz game is absolutely brutal.

I don't know why, but I don't want to face Denver...then again, I don't want to face Paul.
But hey, if this Mavs team can win Tuesday on the Road...then just maybe we can get comfortable that this team can make some noise beyond one round!
Honestly, the intensity of this team is reminding of 2006...let's hope they can be as dangerous as they believe they are!

I can't really decide between the two, in terms of difficulty, but I think I'd rather have the Hornets since we'd have home court against them.

Hornets aren't nearly as good as they were last year. I'd rather play them for the mere fact we would have homecourt against them. We have not beaten the Nuggets at all this year. Nuggets should be up 3-0 in 3 blowout wins if they didn't spaz out and give the game away early in game 3. Their athleticism worries me and I hate playing in Denver. Plus, Paul is more prone to bad turnovers than Billups.

Houston is the only team in the west that can beat the Lakers in a series, they match up with L.A by far the best.

Mavs/Whorenets & Fakers/Rockettes in 2nd round works for me. Then Dallas/Houston in WCF. Hell yeah works for me.
But anyway that's looking way ahead and unlikely anyway. (Whorenets arent beating Thuggets.)
