I don't see any more losses on the Cowboys schedule, judging from the way all those teams played today.

Barber really just turns into a different back in the fourth quarter, huh? He was doing nothing earlier.

First place feels pretty good boys. Eagles can take that 44-6 and shove it.

Well it wasn't very pretty, but this is definitely the biggest win of the season. You could argue that it's the biggest win of Romo's career to this point.

I would argue that. Green Bay in 2007 was bigger. Until we win in the playoffs, that sets the standard. And Romo will get a win in the playoffs eventually here. He's too good not to.

That being said, this was huge. Cowboys only have to play .500 ball from here on out to make the playoffs (10 wins should be enough to get in).

Not really.. that one longer run on the last drive..there wasn't anyone around him until about 7-8 yards down field when there was a guy a two that barely got a hand on him.

Personally, I think Choice should get more carries.

Barber had a pretty nice game. But, I think the Cowboys are leaving alot of yards on the table with him being the feature back.

Yeah, this ended up being his best game since the injury. But I can't help but think we would be best off giving Choice and Jones a majority of the carries in the first three quarters and then let Barber handle the bulk in the fourth. That would be a nice happy medium. I don't think he's good enough to be a feature back on a team with backups as good as Jones and Choice. I've been wanting this since about midway through last season.

Marion the Barbarian bitch. He really closed out this game.

Huuuge win for the 'boys obviously. Great defense.

And Miles Austin just being the greatest wide receiver he is supposed to be.

I was very happy to see Roy Williams make some plays tonight...he needed, Romo needed it, the team needed it, and the fans needed it.

Please keep using Ogletree!!

I love watching Andy Reid when there's a close call. His challenges are so emotional... it's like watching a person constantly go back to an abusive relationship.

Hard to fault the false starts last night too much -- w/ the Iggles bringing it every play the o-line is bound to get a bit jumpy...not great but not awful. Also, Choice for the starter....other than that I'm so happy I'm giggling like a little girl.

...they look tougher this year, at least for the last three weeks....I don't know why they would be tougher but they look like they've got a bit more fire in their bellies.

Good TEAM win.

RB by committee has given us around 1000 yards and 10 TD through 8 games...or something close to that.

The WR are also contributing as a unit, with no ego's getting in the way. It's given Romo the opportunity to take what opposing Defenses are giving.

On that Austin TD, Romo stated that he pumped to the slant, which the Eagles jumped after he and Roy had success throughout the game...that gave Austin enough to gain separation and get under that pass for a nice 49 yard game winning TD!!!

This team collectively stayed composed and focused on the play at hand, ultimately winning the game.

McNabb, the most overrated player in the NFL, threw 2 INT which lead to 10 Cowboy points!!! Nothing is sweeter than seeing McNabb CHOKE!!!

Now the pressure and inensity will rise around valley ranch...can these players with this coaching staff rise to the challenge. Keep in mind, this is only mid-season and so far, they deserve credit. But now, they must rise to new expectations...can they handle the heat?

From this fan, I believe that they will do more than just handle the heat...this is turning into a special season!!!

Great job by the ENTIRE Team!!!

Other than merely to mimic Limbaugh, I don't know how you can say McNabb is the most overrated player in the NFL. One of the INTs was not his fault in the slightest, and the other was simply a great play by Jenkins. McNabb is a fantastic player, and even though I despise the Eagles with every breath in my body, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it when someone has it.

Yeah, I'm not sure how anybody can hate on McNabb's skills. Dude took his team to four straight NFC title games earlier this decade, and for 3 of those he didn't have a single good receiver on his team. If he'd been the Cowboys QB for the past 10 years, we'd almost certainly have a playoff win.

Bob Sturm quoting Adam Schefter:

Quote:
on third downs last night - only third downs - ...Tony Romo was nine-of-11 for 140 yards, one touchdown and that quarterback rating of 149.1.
that's gettin' it done under some pretty tough situations, especially given the troubles running the ball and the blitzes the iggs were bringing.

Dude, there's nothing wrong with thinking that McScabb is over rated. Why are you bringing Limbaugh into it? Go to the politics forum if you want to go there...this is pure sports!!!

As far as McNabb, at one point, he got hit pretty good, and I turned to the others in the room and flat out stated..."I hope McNabb does NOT get hurt...if he goes out, then the Eagles have a chance to win"

Look, truth be known, McScabb puts up stats...but his teams that have won, have done so more with great defense. He's over hyped...sure he has good skills, but honestly, he's no where near as good as some people like to make him out to be. In my opinions he not a HOF QB.

He doesn't perform under pressure...funny thing, is that our own Cowboys QB, if he's not careful is on the same path as McScabb.

Greatness is determined by what one does under full pressure. And from what I've seen...McScabb has yet to perform under Championship pressure...and now he's on the downside of his career.

As far as guys I hope succeed at that level, that haven't so far:

Romo, Brees, Young...these are guys who I would be thrilled to see winning the Title...as for McScabb, you'll never see me root for him or give him undue credit. He is and remains OVERRATED!!!

As far as pro-athletes, he rates up there with Kobe as far as players that I dispise!!!

I am a fan of T.O., LeBron, Dirk, Romo and any Cowboy player...all though Marty B is starting to become a little punk that needs to straighten up and play ball.

You and others happen to be fans of McScabb, that's your perogative...I happen to NOT be a fan and likewise, that is my perogative.

By the way, I was not a fan of BP and am glad to see him no longer associated with the Cowboys!!!

Bottom line, the Cowboys played a good solid TEAM game yesterday and we are seeing signs that this is a TEAM and not a group of egos!!! Funny, being is I was and am a big fan of EGO#1, Mr. Terrell Owens.

It's all about free choice, that's what it means to be a fan
