All I worry about is Shaq. We have a lot of guys that can pester centers like Duncan but no one that can slow down Shaq without Dampier back. Other than that, this Mavs team is hungry, disciplined and a lot better rested than the Cavs.

Shaq sucks... You play him straight up...We have much more problems with perimeter guys and 3pt shooters than a fat bloviator like shaq..
I would like to have damp out there however...

We beat the Cavs if we have 4 quarters of effort from 1-12. Thomas is a new weapon we can rely on when Shaq sits and we see JJ and Varejao. Dirk will eat both guys on the offensive end. I think if we can stay balanced early offensively, then feed Dirk extensively in the 4th, we win the game. Our defense is that good to make King work for his and shut down the rest. Shaq's probably licking his chops with Damp out.
To be honest, rest is overrated, they played we played, it's all even....after the GSW debacle and Houston rout.....effort on our part, we will bring us the W. |
