It is very possible that two of the people you called out above won't be on the roster come that Sunday in Washington.
If no trades/cuts are made from here on out though - just holy hell wow.
The line has to block but if Free can step it up just wow...
I wonder if Dallas will let Dez return punts like he did at Oklahoma St. He was very good at that as well.
I find myself as excited about this pick as I have been in a very long time.
BTW, I think this is like the first offensive pick in the first round in like the last 87 years.

We swapped our 90th pick for New England's 119th pick in order to swap first round picks.
So we gave up #27 and #90 for #24 and #119.

Roughly the equivalent of a fifth. We moved down 20 places from 90.

Yeah, but I don't think he goes for anything lower but a high third.
I'd hope even higher...
(plus, I'd rather keep him than trade low...)

Eh, considering we didn't really get a true need in the 1st, give me the 3rd. We have two very solid running backs, one of which that isn't injury prone. Barber is definitely injury prone and he has to be looked at as a backup RB as many think that Jones will start this year. A 3rd for an injury-prone backup RB is fine with me, especially considering we just gave away our 3rd to pickup a 4th, (a pick we didn't have - right?), with this previous trade.

Ah, it is the 5th we didn't have.
Only one pick tomorrow - that sucks. Hopefully a trade changes that.

Goose Gosselin is going insane over the Bryant pick!! Says he makes the offense instantly better...makes Romo better....and should be the offensive rookie of the year.
Sheesh, Goose....

I'm hoping for a trade up in the 2nd to get Morgan Burnett.
in Dez talk, Goose Gosselin, who is frequently super accurate in his picks, says Dez Bryant will be rookie of the year next year and could win em three games just with his punt return abilities. Wow...my thinking about the guy has gone up quite a bit. Goose is so spot on about stuff.

That might be a bit of an exaggeration, but just a bit...
(and certainly not outside the realm of possibility)

I still think they need to look at trading Barber, get a 4th round pick or something and let Felix and The People's Choice carry the rock.

Jerry said conclusively, "We will not be moving Roy"
also said that in his mind, Miles and Roy are still the starters

he's moving...down the depth chart. I figure eventually someone is going to need to go because guys like Crayton and Williams are gonna be complaining if they don't get the ball.
I think Dez or Roy will benefit greatly right off the bat. Miles is clearly the top target teams will try to shut down, then they'll look at Witten...that's gonna leave one of those two ready to pick the secondary apart.

Dez Bryant is the Randy Moss of this draft - a wide receiver with extraordinary skills whose talent ranks in the Top 10 of the Class of 2010. Like Moss, though, the Lufkin product has some character issues. Actually, some maturity issues. Can he be trusted to be both an adult and a professional when fame and fortune come his way as an NFL player? - Rick Gosselin, Dallas Morning News

If Dez starts getting out of line Ware just needs to walk up to him and say "if you screw up, I'm going to eat you."
