Shot isn't falling yet. He's got the entire team in foul trouble though.

Ugh, they are outfastbreaking us. 5 or 6 less fastbreakes would have created a small chance for us, but anyway. They are better.

I am glad it's over. It's also good that Dirk doesn't need to play in London next year. At this stage of his career he doesn't need that additional wear and tear. The lockout might buy him some time to rest and recover before the season starts eventually. But then he'll probably face a very tight schedule, which might be shorter but even more demanding on older players. Also because every game becomes more important than in a longer season. So if they do play next season and the Mavs get far in the playoffs, Dirk gets a nice summer vacation next year and can watch the Olympic Games from the grands stands if he wishes.

"He looked terrible after the game against Lithuania. His eyes were almost black and it was obvious, that his battery was running on reserve in the last minutes. He was carried only by his will, as the saying goes, to make another miracle happen. It did not happen, but for me that takes nothing away from him. Quite the opposite is true: taking on a fight against overall better teams, where you can't win that much, but lose a lot of your reputation, is something to be proud of. Not a lot of people would do this, but Dirk did."

That article made me kind of sad thinking that one day (and pretty soon) that will be us in Dallas.

but then you'll look up at the banner and realize he's already won us our one and only championship and you won't have anything to worry about anymore because you know when he does leave, he leaves with a mission accomplished.

I still wish Dirk was immortal and would play for the Mavs forever.

The Grizzlies really made a dumb move allowing Navarro to leave after one year in the NBA. It speaks volumes to how badly managed the team was during those years. He would easily be a starter for them now. The best scoring guard to play in Europe since Manu!!!

Dirty and whiny player. I do not want him in MAVS uni. Guy does not fit and deserve it...
..and Navarro is soooo much better BTW.

If I recall correctly, it was JC who wanted to return to Europe.

Yes. But the Grizzlies treated him like some 18 year old rookie, barely letting him play early on when in fact he was arguably their best guard.
And yes, I agree with the previous posts. The Spanish are getting pretty annoying now, football (soccer), basketball. At least I like Nadal.
