I still think Frank will become a nice player. Star maybe. Solid starter for sure if he can stay healthy. Screams Jeff Teague with elite defensive toolbox/size to me. Not particularly adept at running an offense, but he can drive, hit a shot, and defend/disrupt.

Frank was always going to be a 2-4 year project so judging him now seems premature particularly in comparison to Smith, who is skilled beyond his years. I'm actually impressed that he's getting the 5/4/2 that he's getting.

Don’t forget about the suns. Losing by 30 or so.

I really feel like a piece of shit for not feeling the least bit bad when CP3 got injured again tonight. Also Harden with a crisp 19 FT tonight foh.

Wow, I somehow missed the Clips crash & burn... Last I checked they were riding high with a 5-2 record, enjoying addition-by-subtraction in the post-CP3 era -- now they're 5-10.

Just don't want them competing for a draft pick.

You know Cuban would be desperate enough to offer a first-round pick for Deandre for the get-good-quick scheme.

That scares me more than Clipppers competing with us for 30th seed.

Well at least they lost some leverage in trying to dump DeAndre. And I don't think they want him here. If they do Cuban is even dumber than I imagined. His max is 35m. Not that he'll get that, not even close. But he'll still be looking for 20-25. And he'll turn 30 next July

lol and you dont know Cubans ego? He is not trading for DeAndra after his bullshit move and breaking a handshake agreement.

Even if Deandrea is off the table from Cuban's ego that doesnt change that there are a ton of other guys he prolly would trade that pick for just to be closer to that 8th seed faster. Which we all should be afraid of, still shocked we didn't trade our first last year tbh.

@daldridgetnt: Sprained MCL for Blake Griffin, per source. Will be out a while, but Clips are relieved it wasn't worse.

Can we stop this "DeAndrea" bullshit? I don't like him either, but to insult him by changing the gender of his name is amazingly stupid, and an insult to half of the people in the world.

Be better.

Im not changing specifical his gender, im changing his name...as a sign how much i disrespect him. That it sounds then like a female name is coincidence.

DeAndra, Lebum, Lepron, Carmella, Westbrick

Ben Simmons had 31pts 18 rebs. He was 15-29 from the free throw line............. Oh Embiid had 18ft's of his own as well.

AD got ejected for the first time in his career? He sure looked a lot like Cousins when he was acting like he needed to be held back from fighting a 5'11 ref. Then tearing his jersey off on the way to the locker room.

And to think DSJ is like top 15 in the league in drives per game and he shot 4 tonight. He'd be averaging 25 ppg if he could get some calls.

To be fair, those Nike jerseys tear easily.

Wasn't really directed at anyone, it's just a peeve of mine, but my reference was more or less stating that apparently everything nowadays is taken as offensive first, that there is almost literally a mandated filter when there doesn't need to be, primarily in America. We shouldn't have talk shows with alcohol and an environment where some less than appealing language occasionally comes up. Because there is a chance people could be offend or somehow scar children more than the average youtube video, which is much more readily available to them does. The editing of his name clearly isn't ment to offend women. And if we are going to say that's offensive why stop there? Let's not call refs blind because blind people would love to be able to see as well as a crappy nba official. Prolly shouldn't call him a man child either because those with a genetic disorder could be offended. Can't call Boogie, or others like him, mental midgets because mentally ill and little people could be offended. Many fans call the Rockets the Rockettes, prolly should stop that now because that is offensive to women as well clearly.

I would have just stuck with the bolded part and not been sarcastic about it, TBH.

76ers trade Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskas to Brooklyn for Trevor Booker.

Between D. Russell and Okafor the Nets are at least trying to improve their roster considering they have no draft picks.

Quite nice pickup for Nets. They are finally doing something reasonable. Okafor may not be 'coachable', but getting him for only giving up Trevor Booker? Good change to try it out. If they would pick up coach Fizdale also, then this would be something I could start following.

Poor guy just can't stick...

@ShamsCharania: Sources: The Hawks have waived forward Nicolas Brussino, opening a roster spot. Brussino was claimed off waivers by Atlanta in July.

Seemed really nice. Loved his pure shooting touch. He just didn't have a great feel for the game and needed to add strength.

Strength was the biggest issue, but I really thought Bussino had some potential.

Kleber is much more polished.
