Solid backup center. Was developing his three point shot so he's basically Powell with a passable three point shot (35% last year)

Jones was also a budding defensive expert. He needs to get a jumper (30% from three last year), but has excellent athleticism and strength.

This trade is silly.......

what hurts me as a fan the most is that there were plenty of guys out there who could help........but the mantra the whole offseason was "Oh he's not a good fit". Who in the hell is a good fit for these Mavericks at this point? Its going to be 20 years from now and we are going to talk about player A isn't a good fit.

So now the most I can hope for as a fan is that this team trades for a overpaid disgruntled player who another team doesn't want because....well he's overpaid and disgruntled.........

I said that yesterday. We ASSUME we will be better because of KP but the West are all making moves. The teams that were already superior to us are getting better and we are busy trying to catch up just to how good those teams were last season.
