That, or they’re playing hardball to drive up the price.

The Hawks and Mavericks are still talking, according to league sources, but Dallas is unwilling to trade No. 5 and Wes Matthews for No. 3 and Kent Bazemore. Such a move is essentially paying $19.3 million to move up two spots in tonight's draft
Omg! Don’t fuck this up!

If thats the Deal they have to do it or believe that Mo Bamba is the next great thing and not Nerlens Noel without brain farts.
Just dont include 33 or more

While I wonder about Doncic's fit next to DSJ and Barnes, I think essentially paying $20 million for him is a no-brainer.

Mavs have no chance for Doncic without a trade to 3 because the Grizzlies take him in a heartbeat at 4 and the Hawks know it.

Damn DeAndre Ayton is a genetic anomaly. His parents are built nothing like him.
Mikal Bridges dad trying to steal all his glory lol.
Chandler Hutchinson's mom is fine.
Wtf is Trae Young wearing? He doesn't deserve to get drafted just for wearing capris.

Oh well. Just take Bamba then. I'm really not in the mood to get bent over in another trade.

Sources: Jaren Jackson Jr., has grown comfortable with the prospect of Memphis drafting him with fourth pick, and provided Grizz officials the requisite personal information they requested. Coach JB Bickerstaff played a big role in selling a vision for Jackson's future there.

Its Not "Just" 20m, its screwing our 2019 free Agency, where we would be again one of the few teams with cap...

Because that has been so valuable to us in the past.
Not saying I disagree entirely but I swear we value cap space way too damn much for a team that has used that as plan A for almost a decade with zero results.

Might be a good idea in the General Discussion forum EL. People aren't used to live action threads in Trade and Draft. Or another thread in here.

@wojespn: Atlanta and Dallas have agreed to a deal, league sources tell ESPN. They'll trade Nos. 3 and 5 picks, sending Luka Doncic to Dallas and Trae Young to Atlanta, sources said. Dallas will send Atlanta a future first.

@TheSteinLine: Dallas will send a future first-round pick with various protections over the next five seasons to Atlanta along with No. 5 to acquire the third overall pick from Atlanta, league sources say
