ok, we've talked about the problem of evil, and the extent of the atonement's application, but my real question to you is, "Could Jesus dunk?"

Voltron defended the universe...devastator was a rather local beast.
I'll go universal with Voltron!

well, I was gonna say McCain would eat them all for breakfast, but I can see Biden closing his mouth for 10 seconds, and lifting himself and Palin to safety with the build up of hot air. From a righteous sniper position, Palin might take out both McCain and Obama, despite the bulletproof halo Obama carries around all the time.
I'll vote Palin/Biden

McCain/Obama
McCain will suffocate Biden/Palin with his neck skin and obama will sit back and light one up.

I've gotta go with Biden/Palin on this one. They are the veeps, therefore they have motivation for killing McCain/Obama.

This is the true test of this thread, whether it's a popularity contest or death match. Because no one in their right mind thinks Troy could whip Roger. No one. Probably not even right now, at their respective ages.

Roger who?
I was born in 1977 - Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and 3 (shoulda been 4) Super Bowl rings are the Dallas Cowboys franchise to ME...

And I was born in 1982. Still obvious that Roger could kill Troy if he wanted to.

This is an interesting topic. I want to to against the grain here...I mean... athletes today are better trained. They eat better. They start learning and playing earlier in life. Schools become more complicated and involved (especially football-wise) in their development of new players. Training facilities are better....supplements, vitamins, diets...better, better, better....TV, internet, radio, all media focuses on sports like never before. This increases performance through expectations and pressures to perform from an earlier age....
In short, I almost always believe that athletes of today are better than athletes of yesterday. There are exceptions of course (MJ to name one) but in general...Wayne Gretzky at his prime in todays defense/goaltending heavy game against todays schemes and todays athletes wouldn't be nearly as good...Dirk would do even better if brought back in time...football linemen are on average bigger, faster, and stronger than they were before, and responsible for more intellectually and knowing the ever increasingly complicated play books...
In general, the athlete of today whoops the athlete of yesterday.
But I'm not going to vote in this particular match. I don't know if the two can be measured against each other fairly. Suffice it so say that Aikman and Roger >>>>>>>>>>>>> Tony Romo.

Blah blah blah. This is deathmatch. Who would beat down the other, remember?
Count is 1-1.

I don't know who the better player was, but Roger looks a lot more tough than Troy. So I vote Roger.

I just want to reiterate for everyone's sake the this is about who would KILL the other. It has nothing to do with who is more popular or who is better at whatever it is they do (unless of course, like in the current match, what they do best is kill).

1) Colossus is made of osmium, Wolverine is made of adamantium...
adamantium > osmium
2) Colossus learned his fighting skills from Wolverine...
teacher > student
3) Wolverine has a "healing factor," Colossus is just a normal human when he isn't covered in metal...
regeneration > jack squat
Did I mention that Wolverine kicked Hulk's ass and Hulk kicked Colossus' ass?
Wolvie FTW in my book!
