And yet it seems that the more people that hate him, the more powerful he becomes.

Yeah, his ego lured him... As the leader of the free world, everyone is out to get him. If he's not smart enough to avoid an obvious trap, then he's not fit to lead.

FISA court issues sealed indictment against Donald Trump
Quote:
Separate sources with links to the intelligence and justice communities have stated that a sealed indictment has been granted against Donald Trump.
While it is understood that the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution means that, until Mr. Trump is impeached, he cannot be prosecuted, sources say that the indictment is intended by the FBI and prosecutors in the Justice Department to form the basis of Mr. Trump’s impeachment. The indictment is, perhaps uniquely, not intended or expected to be used for prosecution, sources say, because of the constitutional position of the President.

Look who comes up as the #1 search result... You'd think Melania or Pence, but nope!

Trump revealed highly classified information to Russian foreign minister and ambassador
Quote:
Trump “revealed more information to the Russian ambassador than we have shared with our own allies.”

So do we wait until America is irreversibly fucked before we impeach this idiot, or are conservatives finally going to put this country ahead of their party?

The president and his/her people can by definition share whatever they want. If they share it, it becomes declassified. I find the whole discussion to be poorly framed. Generally you don't want to flippantly spill state secrets to the Russians, but there are legitimate reasons why we'd want to share info. A president probably wants to let the CIA and NSA know before it happens and Trump probably should have asked for advice about what should and shouldn't be shared to protect the informants and spies that brought us the info, but the biggest issue isn't that he shared the info.
As I see it there are bigger issues here:
1) The dishonesty from the White house. Honesty is a premium commodity, but when the White house lies about something as minor as this, it makes you wonder. White house comes out and denies that Trump shared the information less than 24 hours before Trump comes out and admits it.
2) The disorganization of the White house. It seems like a total mess. People don't like each other and aren't working together in the biggest office in the land during a time of crisis. A couple of days ago, Trump invited the Russians, spilled secrets, denied US press coverage, but wasn't even aware that the Russian state media was there taking pictures? They find out when the Russian state media posts the pictures from inside the Whitehouse on Twittter? They lie and said it's not true before eventually admitting that the Russians took the pictures and posted them on social media. It makes you wonder how competent they even are.
3) The right-wing media which has continued to parrot White house talking points. A media that parrots government talking points without scrutiny is basically a state media source no different from RT in Russia and cannot be considered an independent media outlet. It's truly embarrassing when the mainstream media reports that the leaks happened. The White house says they didn't. The right wing media repeats the White house talking point -- and then the president confirms that it actually did. Truly embarrassing for the crooked/lazy media who just call Trump and ask what to publish.

Why would we share information with Russia that we wouldn't share with Great Britain, especially pertaining to ISIS?

Well the info apparently was from Israel. Israel now "boiling mad". May have exposed their agents operating all over the middle east.
All it takes is Russia sharing that info with their buddy-in-the-region Iran or one of those Middle Eastern countries discovering one of the uncovered agents in their midst and we have a full-on international crisis on our hands.

Honestly, Trump should be in front of a firing squad for this shit... If a Democrat was doing this, they'd already have a couple assassination attempts on their hands. But Republicans will happily sell out this country just as long as he keeps attacking every liberal institution in this country -- something that Nixon, Reagan, and both Bushes refused to do because they saw value in these ideas (hell, Nixon even started the EPA).

Trump supporters are all hiding now because there really is no defense to this stuff. Even on FB, I nary read any comments loving the guy. They'll trash liberals and still blame Obama, but the Trump love has faded.

Yeah, their go-to move is to slam Obama or Hillary, but you never see them actually trying to DEFEND Trump anymore (although the best defense is a good offense, I suppose).

Fallon lost the right to make fun of Trump when he had him on the show during the General election and treated him like he was just some famous guy. Made him into Uncle Donald for at least some segment of hipsters that like Fallon's youtube.

Fallon has always sucked, didn't need Trump to prove that... I have no idea how that guy got his own show, he's 100% pure weaksauce.
