All they had to do was advance the ball past half court. Nothing wrong with taking them out there.

That's one of the major things that get me when people try to knock Kidd for something (mainly shooting or whatever). Seriously, what else do you want this guy to do? He is running the offense and right now it's very effective, he rebounds, and he usually takes some chances at the best offensive guard on defense, no matter the size. The guy does a ton for this team, and some of it really goes unnoticed.
He was Roy's shadow in the 4th. Roy never really got a chance to get going and that was because of JKidd.

Dirk better play a lot better than this in Utah if the Mavs want to win. Deron will play. And Utah at home is tough.

Honestly, he was a little sloppy/off tonight, some of that was before the fouls and some of that was because of the early fouls. He just never really got set tonight.

Terry seems better at clutch free throws this season. Thank goodness.

Game is way closer than it should have been.
Carlisle made a terrible call with the substitution.

Honestly I believe that the early fouls screwed up his swag. That's about it.

The end to this one was so unneccessary and lazy. I thought that the game against Philadelphia not too long ago would have had a more lasting impact. They just need to be careful and concentrate until the very end.
Nice win though against a very good team which we have now beat twice this season. It was also nice too see that the Mavs can beat a good team without Dirk playing like Dirk.
